{Outside the Emergency Ward}

Durga: Don't you dare use that tone with me. This is your first and last warning. My decision is final. You're nothing but bad luck for my grandson, and I won't let you take away our last hope.

[A collective gasp fills the room, but Nandini remains composed.]

Nandini: Listen to me carefully, Miss Durga Malhotra. Say whatever you want about me—I don't care. But I won't let anything happen to Manik. I don't know if I'm cursed or if I bring bad luck. But I know this: where there's trust and faith, hope wins. Manik trusted me. He never saw me as bad luck, and today, I'm here to prove him right.

[Nyonika, surprising Nandini, reaches out and takes her hand.]

Nyonika: Beta, I don't know why you did what you did, but I know that Manik's life is in the best hands now.

[Nandini nods a silent promise, then gestures toward the ICU.]

Nandini: We're ready for surgery. You can see him one more time, but only from outside.

[Everyone follows her to the ICU doors, where they see Manik lying still, his body a pale contrast to the vibrant man they remember. The sight brings tears to their eyes, the vibrant, confident Manik they know reduced to this fragile, motionless figure surrounded by machines. Tubes run from his arms and chest, a blood-stained bandage covers his head, and an oxygen mask obscures his face. His once lively presence has dimmed to a faint shell, with the heart monitor's slow beeps acting as a grim reminder of the struggle unfolding within him.

The family stands in silence, absorbing the gravity of the moment. Soft sobs begin to break the quiet; the women cling to one another, their tears falling freely. The men stand stoic, attempting to console the others, though their own grief is evident in their clenched jaws and teary eyes. Alya's hand trembles as she brings it to her mouth, struggling to hold herself together, while Cabir's fists tighten, barely containing the storm of emotions raging inside him. Even Harsh, who usually exudes strength, places a steadying hand on Savitri's shoulder, his silent presence grounding them all.

Behind them, Nandini watches with a heavy heart, feeling the weight of their hopes and fears pressing down on her. Yet, she cannot afford to let her own emotions show. She has to be their pillar, for Manik's sake and for theirs. Taking a deep, steadying breath, she clears her throat, gently pulling their attention back to her.]
