{Hospital Park}
[Nandini looked at him, her chest tightening with a mix of gratitude and fear. Her voice dropped to a whisper, laced with hesitation.]
Nandini: (like a child) Manik... you won't leave me, right? Like everyone else did?
[Her question hung in the air, fragile and raw. Her eyes searched his face desperately for reassurance. Manik's grip on her tightened as if physically anchoring her to him. In one swift motion, he pulled her so close that her breath hitched. She found herself pressed against his chest, her heart racing wildly.]
Manik: (intensely) Let's get married tomorrow.
[The words hit her like a thunderclap. Her eyes widened, her lips parting in shock. Time seemed to stand still as their gazes locked, the unspoken intensity between them deepening.]
Manik: (brushing his fingers along her flushed cheek) Why do you always go silent when I ask you something important?
[The question snapped her out of her daze. She straightened slightly, trying to regain her composure, though her trembling hands betrayed her.]
Nandini: (huffing, half-playful) Maybe because you keep throwing these shocks at me! First your friendship, then the proposal, then digging into my past, and now this sudden talk of marriage? Seriously, Manik, you've turned my life upside down in a month!
[Her attempt at humor made him chuckle softly. The sound was warm, a soothing contrast to the tension in the air.]
Manik: (smirking) Ever since I bumped into you at the airport, I stopped listening to my brain and started following my heart. And this crazy heart of mine? It keeps making me do all sorts of stupid things for you.
[Her eyes softened, the humor replaced by curiosity.]
Nandini: How did you fall in love with me, Manik?
Manik: (pausing, as if searching for the right words) I'm not sure when it started. Maybe it was at the airport when I saw you taking care of Mukti. The way you missed your flight just to be with her... it did something to me.
[Her lips parted in surprise, her brows furrowing in disbelief.]
Nandini: (gasping) Really? I thought you couldn't stand me back then.
Manik: Oh, I wanted to hate you. I really did. But my heart had other plans. It betrayed me.
[He placed a hand dramatically over his chest, feigning hurt. Nandini couldn't help but giggle, her laughter a melody that lightened the weight between them. She made a small pout, and his expression instantly darkened, his voice dipping into a husky whisper.]
