Dahyun was dying. Everything hurt. Even the act of breathing, the most basic thing you need to do to stay alive, is hurting her right now.

She's lying face down on the yoga mat after a particularly intense cardio workout. She didn't realize she was so out of shape until she stepped inside the gym and ran on a treadmill for 30 minutes, only to almost pass out from wheezing too much.

"You okay there, Dahyun?" Momo called out. She can't even move a muscle to sit up and face him, so she tried her best to flail around until she managed to roll over.

"Just end my misery, coach. Take that yoga ball and suffocate me with it," Dahyun groaned as sweat continuously dripped from her face. It took her days to finally give up; she's surprised it took her this long, and they were only doing basic cardio. They haven't even started doing any muscle building yet.

Dahyun closed her eyes and just accepted her fate. She had a good run; it was fun while it lasted.

"Let's call it a day for now, yeah? I'm sure you're still busy memorizing your lines." He looked mildly disappointed but gave a small smile as he helped her sit up, gently patting her shoulder.

They did breathing exercises a few times to regulate her heartbeat. Then Momo gave her a water bottle so she wouldn't get dehydrated, which she quickly downed in big gulps.

Momo told her that they would start working on her stamina for now, as she's in no shape to lift anything in her current form. She's grateful to have such an understanding fitness coach. She thanked him and bid him farewell, then tiredly made her way to the women's locker room to take a long, warm shower.

Dahyun made sure to scrub all the sweat and dirt off her body before toweling dry. She carefully dressed herself; the hot shower did help ease some of the tension, but there's still a dull ache in her muscles.

She fished her phone out of her gym bag once she was outside to call Jihyo but was greeted by a message from him instead: "Sorry Dubu, I can't pick you up today. I'll make it up to you later! Call me when you get home, okay?"

Dahyun smiled at his words. He really didn't need to do this for her, but that's just how he is with everyone. She sent him a quick text telling him not to worry and that she would just call for a cab. She then opened an app on her phone to book the cab home.

"Oh? You're still here, Dahyunnie?" She heard Momo's voice from around the corner. She looked up at him when he stood by her side and noticed the two helmets he was holding by the straps.

"Oh hey, coach!" She glanced at her phone to see that Jihyo replied to her message with a thumbs-up. She slipped the device back into her bag before properly facing him. "Yeah, my brother can't pick me up because he's working late again."

They talked for a bit while waiting for the cab to arrive. It was taking longer than normal; they were approaching dinner time, and people were hurrying to get home around this hour. Her family's restaurant must have been brimming with customers right about now.

"You seem happy, coach. What's up?" She asked, amused. He's normally a peppy guy, but he's extra smiley today. Not even her shame from earlier dampened his mood.

"Oh, I'm glad you asked!" His face brightened even more; she's not even sure that was possible.

"You see, my baby is finally back! She's waiting for me in the parking lot!" he exclaimed. The two helmets knocked against each other as he clenched his hand in excitement. "We got into a little fender bender last week. I felt really bad, but she's back to normal again!"

"I'm sorry to hear about that. At least she's fine now, right?" She frowned slightly, feeling something strange in the pit of her stomach but quickly dismissed it. It's probably hunger; she didn't eat much for lunch because she didn't want to feel bloated while working out. She slipped her hand into her hoodie pocket to discreetly rub her tummy through the fabric. "Are you okay, though?"

"Yeah, just a few scratches." He smiled sheepishly, scratching the back of his neck with his free hand. "Say, do you want to ride her with me?"

"Excuse me?"

"You said your brother can't pick you up, right?" He tried to give her one of the helmets, but Dahyun couldn't seem to grip it firmly because it almost fell from her grasp a few times. He just ended up putting it on her head, gently adjusting the clasps on her chin. "We can even grab dinner before I take you home! Come on, this'll be fun!"

"Wait, this is too sudden! My heart is not ready yet!" Dahyun didn't even notice him doing it; she was too preoccupied with what he said.

'Ride her with me?!' Is her new coach into some kinky stuff? Are they one of those couples that are looking for a third? And does he want her to join them? More importantly, why is she enjoying this?!

"I know it can be scary at first since it's all new, but there's nothing to be afraid of! It'll feel great, I promise!"

...

...

...?

"Oh, it's a motorcycle," she deadpanned, all the adrenaline leaving her body. The relief that she was experiencing right now was lessened by a tinge of disappointment.

She reluctantly followed him back to the parking lot, not really knowing what to expect. What awaited them was a motorcycle with a sidecar.

"Huh?" Momo blinked at her, confused. "Anyways, what do you think? She's beautiful, right? I even got her some decals."

"Uh-huh, yep," she hummed, shifting her weight onto the balls of her feet. She couldn't really comment on it because she had no idea about cars and motorcycles. It was clean and shiny?

"So, what do you say? I know this great family restaurant nearby!" Momo slid the other helmet onto his head and securely tightened the straps. "Do you want to wear goggles too?"

This is ridiculous. Just a few seconds ago, she thought she was being propositioned by her fitness coach. Well, that was kind of embarrassing and awkward, and she hoped that Momo wouldn't find out.

Dahyun shook her head despite the red blush creeping up her collar, laughing to herself. She thought that all of this would be a distant memory that she could look back on with a smile one day.

"Heck yeah!" She pulled her phone out again. "Let me just cancel that cab..."
