Y/n's POV
The five of us are now on the break room after our, less than ideal, match against the World Five. I mean, it kinda was the expected result but still.
Isagi: We seriously drowned out there.
Aryu: Yeah. I thought I'd gotten stronger since coming to Blue Lock, but I feel like I've been put in my place.
Bachira: But you know... After playing guys I thought belonged on the other end of a TV screen, the whole "best in the world" thing feels a bit more real to me now.
Aryu: Yeah, I think I know what you mean. Becoming the best striker isn't such a fantasy anymore
Y/n: Agreed, very, very hard but definitely not impossible. Although, I would be lying if I said that I didn't want to win that game.
Isagi: Right.
So the point of this match was to "spoil" us, show us what awaits us on the outside and show us that these players are like us, just with their capabilities amped up by an ungodly amount.
Ahh man, the more I think about it all, the more I want to play again and defeat them. Seeing well, me and Rin were the only ones that only stopped when the game was over, that must be a good thing, right?
The next day
Our 2nd assigment is language study, that is a fancy way of seeing, learning english. Fortunately for me, I already have a great base, well, I mean, I can speak almost perfectly.
Bachira: Sunday. Maun-day. Tu-ess-day. Wed... Wed... Weh... Wed-ness-day? (english)
Rin: It's "Wednesday", idiot. And the only one you got right was "Sunday". How did you get into high school?
Bachira: Y/n, Rin-chan is insulting me again. Can't you help me instead, you are nicer.
Meanwhile, I'm trying to help both Aryu and Isagi at the same time, which isn't that hard, but dividing my attention between 3 people isn't exactly my forte.
Aryu: Hey Y/n, so you have to lightly bite your tongue and... "Tess"! Is that how you pronouce "th"?
Y/n: I've already got to help other people, Bachira. I'm sure that Rin-kun means well in his... less than nice critiques.
Rin: I don't, Hoshino. How did these guys even get into high school without knowing how to say the names of the weekdays in english?
Y/n: Well, I don't think we should jud--
Bachira: Hey, Y/n, could you please help me with this? You are the one I like the most when it comes to helping better my english.
Aryu: He was helping me first, you have to wait your turn. Tess. Tuss. Toos. Am I doing it right?
I feel like I'm going to go insane before we can even finish these english lessons. Why did I volunteer to help?
Y/n: Both of you shut the fuck up and let me talk!
Rin: Who did you say needed to be nicer?
Y/n: And you shut your mouth and help them!
Rin: I'm not their damn tutor.
