Y/n's POV
The referee blows the whistle and the game is back under way.
So, Barou's main weapons are his powerful dribbling, more like charging at his opponents, but whatever, and his central long-range shooting, if Barou gets the ball in that area then his chances of scoring skyrocket.
Now, there's a few ways of getting Barou get in that area, but the main one is using his obsession with me or with Isagi, make ourselves bait for him, of course, if I get inside my own range, I'll score, I might be kind, but I'm not a pushover.
As Barou advances up the pitch, the 3 of us, me, Rin and Isagi go back to passing it around us, keeping the ball in our posession. As planned Rin passes the ball back to Hiori. Now Isagi and Rin will move forward, I'll look for an opening and pull Barou in case he doesn't follow Isagi.
Rin gets blocked blocked by Sendou, but Isagi is free so Hiori tries to pass to him, however, he gets challenged by Hayate, until...
Y/n: Wow, took him no time to get to work.
Barou swoops him and steals the ball from both Isagi and Hayate. I run forward, following them and can hear him say something.
Barou: What am I doing? Can't you see? I'm Isagi-hunting.
Isagi-hunting... that's one heck of a term, I've heard a lot of types of hunting, but Isagi-hunting, that one is a first, I mean it's Barou, so what was I expecting?
Rin: That's one way to play. The last time I saw this guy play was in the 2nd selection.
Y/n: I don't even know what to say. That's Barou for ya'.
To get Hayate out of the way Barou uses his chop dribble and passes by him.
Rin: Can you see what he is about to do, Hoshino?
Y/n: Badly, but I can. Follow along.
Rin: Right by your side. Let's go!
Me and Rin start running, looking for empty spaces and possible places where the ball might fall in case of a second ball. Isagi must have noticed us moving and also follows me and Rin.
Darai is in Barou's way, he has Isagi at his left, but I doubt that he is gonna pass it. And as I predicted he uses Isagi as bait, however, instead of cutting through the inside he cuts through to the outside, leaving Darai shocked.
Darai runs and tries to stop him, but Barou, again, doesn't pass, instead uses another chop dribble.
Isagi: Pass it, Barou!
Does Isagi really expect Barou to pass him, of all people, the ball? That's some high level delusion.
Barou: I'll devour everything in this match, including you!
Is he planning to shoot? He has no angle. Although, my instincts are telling me that's exactly what he is gonna do.
Y/n: Rin-kun! He's going to shoot. Eyes open!
