Hey everyone, I hope you are having a great day or had a great day if you are reading this at night, I just wanted to ask you to leave a vote if you enjoyed the chapter and leave a comment on what your thoughts about the chapter are. Anyway, have a good reading.

Y/n's POV

A week has passed since our match with Ubers and we have been hard at work trying to up our skills and weapons.

At least Loki is a decent teacher, in the morning we have a meeting with him where he basically tells us what we need to work on. This actually makes things easier as it gives us a clear path to improving.

Right now I'm leaving the bath, my body as relaxed as it can be. A good and long bath after a day of work and training is the best thing ever.

As I walk to my bedroom, well, mine and the other 3's bedroom. But who cares about specifics. As I walk past the training pitch I see Charles... lying on the floor?

Why not join him? Partners in silliness. Yeah that seems a cool thing to do. I walk into into the pitch and walking to the center I lay down next to him. To my surprise he looks at me a bit confused but ends up smiling and turns his face back to the roof.

Y/n: You know that this usually is done without a roof and staring at the stars, right?

He chuckles at my little remark.

Charles: Why did you come here?

Y/n: No reason, I was just passing by and saw you. Then I decided that I wanted to join and well, here we are. What about you?

Charles: Just wanted some total silent.

Y/n: Ahhh, comprehensible. Silence is great from time to time.

Charles: You know why you caught my attention, Y/n?

Now that's a great question, to which my only answer is...

Y/n: Because you like my playstyle?

Charles: You are not totally wrong. When I watch you play, it's like you do whatever you want at all time, and that's really cool. I wanted to see what kind of person you would be.

Y/n: Are you satisfied with what you found?

I notice him give a small nod.

Y/n: And what about you, Charles? When I see you train I can't help but notice that you... lack something, for the lack of a better term. Maybe... freedom?

Charles: Ah, you are one of those people, aren't you. The kind of people that you can't hide anything from them because they always know. Those are the most bothersome. And besides, how do I lack freedom, I never do what I am told.

Y/n: Exactly, that's the problem. You, at heart, are a contrarian, if someone tells you "Do A", just for the spite of it you go and do the opposite. That's not being free, that's just being a sheep from the other herd.

I hear him scoff, it seems that he doesn't like people knowing how he feels or thinks.

Charles: Loki brought me here because he wants to train me as his passer so we can surpass Noa and become the best players in the world...

I'm not sure if I am supposed to be hearing this, but I'm too curious.

Charles: ...But that seems so annoying, and such a workload. Playing with you is a thousand times more fun.

Y/n: I mean, we are talking about becoming the best in the world. It will always be a workload,, and it's not really a trivial thing.

Charles: I know that, but again, you make it seem so fun. You are the only person I don't want to contadict!
