The next morning Zoyee woke up a little bit earlier than usual and was ready early after having breakfast. Siri was quite surprised seeing her daughter waking this early that too by herself. Her phone buzzed with a text.

"Are you ready? I'm coming in two."

"Yes, I'm."

Zoyee quickly ran outside after biding her mom goodbye. Her heart was racing as she waited for Archie outside. When his car pulled up she felt a mix of excitement and nervousness. Sliding into the passenger seat she greeted him softly, "Good morning." "Morning," Archie replied with his usual warm smile. "Thanks for picking me up." "No problem. It's on the way anyway," Archie replied as he started driving, "Ready for another hectic day?" Zoyee chuckled, "I guess so. Today I have a class test, so I'm a little bit nervous." "Hey, don't be. I've heard that you are pretty good at studying, so I know you're going to do well in the text. Don't be nervous or else you might end up forgetting the answers that you have memorized," Archie replied softly. As they reached near the college Zoyee hesitated, ''Archie… can you.. um.. can you drop me off before we reach campus? I really don’t want people to notice and start gossiping. Please don't get me wrong." Archie gave her a side glance, "Why do you care so much about what they say? It’s not like we're doing anything wrong." "I know, but—" "Nope, no buts." Archie interrupted with a grin, "You're staying in this car until I park."

As expected, the moment they stepped out of the car all eyes turned to them

As expected, the moment they stepped out of the car all eyes turned to them. Some whispered, some became curious and others simply stared and didn't pay much attention. "Great," Zoyee muttered under her breath. Before she could say more one of Archie’s friends appeared with a teasing grin. "Hey Archie, what's up? Coming with your friend today, huh?" Archie rolled his eyes but couldn’t suppress a smile. "Don't you have something better to do? You're making her uncomfortable." "Hey chill, I was just kidding," the friend laughed and walked off. Archie turned to Zoyee. "See? It's not that bad. And I'm sorry on behalf of him." "You're impossible and no need to say sorry," Zoyee said though she couldn't help but smile. "I'll see you later. Have a good day." "You too. Good bye."

When Zoyee met her own friends later the real teasing began immediately.  "So," Ryan started, leaning casually against the table, "care to explain the morning scene that everyone was talking about? Archie's car, the grand entrance?" "Wait, what? Did I miss something?" Henry said almost yelling. Bella joined in, "Are we finally getting an answer to the big question? Are you two a thing now?" Zoyee shook her head with red cheeks, "No, we're not. He's just being nice, that's it." Henry raised an eyebrow. "Sure he is. But let’s be real, Zoyee. How many 'nice' seniors pick up juniors and bring them to campus every day?" "Exactly," Ryan added, "You're special to him and he likes you. Admit it already."Henry chimed in, "And maybe you like him too!?" Zoyee groaned, "You guys are delusional." Their teasing continued throughout the day and Zoyee couldn’t help but blush despite her protests.
