As weeks passed, Karim and Amara settled into their new reality. They spent their days exploring Manila, visiting Amara's favorite spots and discovering new ones together. But with the joy of being together came the challenge of adjusting to their differences.

One afternoon, they had a small disagreement about their plans. Amara wanted to introduce Karim to her friends, while Karim, feeling a bit overwhelmed, preferred a quieter day.

"I just want us to have time together," Karim said, his tone tinged with frustration.

"I understand," Amara replied, trying to stay calm. "But my friends are excited to meet you. You're part of my life now, Karim."

The tension between them eased as they talked openly about their feelings. It was a reminder that even in the best relationships, understanding and compromise were essential.

Later that evening, Karim surprised Amara with a thoughtful gesture. He cooked her a traditional Algerian dish, a small token of his love and appreciation.

"This is amazing," Amara said, her eyes lighting up as she tasted the food.

Karim smiled. "I wanted to show you that I'm all in, Amara. This is our life now, and I'll do whatever it takes to make it work.
