Starling City was supposed to be my fresh start from my trauma of the past but it only brought me more pain. At first I loved it, the new lifestyle and the freedom. It felt as thought a weight was lifted from my shoulders. But soon I began to miss my family. Barry, Iris, and Joe being so far away was harder than I thought it would be to handle.
But because of all this free time due to my lack of a social life, I managed to get my PHDs relatively quickly, or as quickly as you can. I want to go back to Central City to apply for a job as a medico-legal investigator but instead life gave me other plans.
"Your Eliza right?" A blond girl with blue eyes and glasses said to me. "Uh year who's asking?" "The arrow needs your expertise"

"Eliza what out!" Oliver yells through the ear piece as one of Starling City's mastermind villains is attacking us. It's been two years since I joined Oliver and his crew. They gave me a family that I needed in this city but they could never fill the void the wests and Barry left in my heart. Oliver finally started training me after a ton of convincing so now I'm finally allowed on my first mission with the arrow. "Don't I'm taking him down right now-" I say but am cut short as suddenly a metal pillar smacks me on my head making me enter utter darkness.
A freezing sensation overwhelms my body jolts me up as ice water is poured on my head. "Tell me who you are and arrows IDENTITY NOW!" He screams in my face as he pulls out a knife from his panel of torture devices. Even though I only known Oliver for two years I would never think of exposing him so I did what I know best stay silent. "your ignoring me now huh? I'll get you talking one way or another." He says with a sinister smile before stabbing me in the arm making me let out a whimper.
Minutes turn into hours and there is no sign of my saviours. This stupid psycho drags his knife across my thigh again leaving a deep wound. I don't know how much more of this my body can take before I die. If only I could talk to my friends one last time.
Before all the energy inside my body can leave me I hear a sudden slam into the door until the sounds of screaming in unleashing along with the relieving sound and arrow being shot. "Eliza are you okay. Hey stay with me okay." Oliver says as he grabs me as he fires an arrow pulling us alway from the abandoned warehouse I was stuck in.
Felicity swaddled me with blankets as Oliver called me a doctor. The atmosphere was thick as I can sense the stress radiating from Oliver. "I should have known you weren't ready. I don't even know why I trained you Eliza. Fuck. You could have died. You were going to die if I didn't safe you!" He says sternly. "But you were there so it doesn't even matter." "Of course it matters! Starling City isn't safe for you anymore. You have to go back to Central City. I know you don't want to but you can't run away from your past forever." "I'm not running I want to be here!" "No I can't have another person to worry about." "That's all I am to you? A person that you worry about, huh? Fine I'll go back if that's what you really want." I say letting out a sob. Oliver leaves the room and Felicity gives me a knowing look before following Oliver.
"You're free to go." The doctor says as he discharges me. Shit. Looks like I really have to go back how fun.

After applying for a job at the CCPD as a medico legal investigator, I almost get accepted immediately which I am guessing is due to Oliver wanting me out of the city ASAP but I'm definitely not complaining about that even if I'm still mad at him. Although moving back into my old house will definitely be though because all of the history I have within those walls.
Once I finally get to Central City I rush to Jitters to see Iris as I know she will kill me if I don't see her first. As I walk through the door with a huge smile as I she her busy body delivering coffees to everyone. "Iris!" I say as I run up to her engulfing her in a hug. "OMG I missed you so much Eliza!!" She says as she surround me in a giant hug as I let out a giggle. "I missed you to Iris!!" I say as we finally free each other. "We have so much to catch up on!" Iris exclaims as I nod my head, "I know right but unfortunately I got to go to work right now. It's my first day at the CCPD." "You work there now?! Barry and my dad are going to be so surprised! You better get going." She says as she pushes me out the door.
When I walk into the large building and see the busyness of the environment I light out a sigh which catches someone's attention. "Eliza! What are you doing here darling." Joe says as he wraps me into a hug. "Hey Joe. I finally got my PHDs so I got a job here!" I say with a giggle. Gosh I'm giggling so much today. "I'm guessing your filling are medico legal position? Barry is gonna be so happy considering you guys will be sharing the lab." He says with a laugh as my face morphs into shook. "This gives me such a great opportunity for scare him!" I exclaim as I follow Joe to the lab before he leaves me to unpack my things.
When Barry walks I jump up from behind him and give him a giant hug which is kind of hard considering how much taller he was than me. "Eliza!" Barry exclaims as he grabs me around the waist spinning me around. "I missing you so much!" Barry says before realizing were I am, "wait how did you get up here? N-not that I don't want you hear." He says nervously causing me to laugh. "I work her now silly. I thought I would surprise you!" I state as Barry lets out a laugh.
The rest of the night Barry and I catch up on everything. It's almost like we haven't had years away from each other. The night ended off with him walking me home. Maybe coming back to Central City won't be too bad.
