The Royal Quest of Floravera

🔜 Chapter Twenty One 🔚

I sit on my horse, Becky. Me, Vincent, Liam and a bunch of KettleVille and Floravera guards with us. I step off my horse, "this spot should be good."

We are currently in the middle of the dark forest. Everyone around me nods then I raise the staff to the air and shout "clear these trees!" Soon a blue purple fog appears from the staff, covering the entire forest. I cannot see anything but purple.

Soon it clears up, and all the trees are gone. Not even stumps left in the grounds. Everyone around me look in utter shock at this. I then bang the staff on the ground and shout again "build for me what I think of in my mind!"

Another fog comes out of the wand then soon it covers everything again. This time it takes longer to disappear but shortly it does.

I stand in a hut. I shine the light inside it to see it, it's got a fireplace, living room, kitchen, 2 bedrooms, it's got wooden and stone enterior to it. It's amazing.

I walk out of the house and into a front yard, that is connected to a road. The road has tons of houses just like this on it. It's perfect to house people in need or anyone really. There's even some at the end roads with 3-4 bedrooms and some are 2 story not all are the same. I wasn't about to be bland.

I make my way back to Becky and the other, and hop on. "What do you think?" They all still look bewildered at what they see "do you think we should come up with a new kingdom name?"

Liam shakes his head "Floravera is fine. Unless you want to. Floravera matches the Floral aspect that the new town has. We should head into town too to fix the homes and fix everything we can to get it ready for the uniting too."

I look around at the houses. "What about Oakville? Matches the tree of life and even the houses architecture."

He smiles "I thank that will work, let's figure it out later though."

"Okay. KettleVille or Floravera first?" I ask him

Soon we arrive in town, only took about 15 minutes. We reach the center. Gasps sound around me as I speak. I use the staff to make my voice heard. "Everyone if I can get your attention, I have an announcement, our town is expanding soon, so I'm here to fix the homes, and help the shops"

"Are you gonna fix the leak in our kitchen downstairs?" A little girl beside me asks. I hop off my horse.

"Well of course I am why don't you show me where the leak is?" She takes my hand and pulls me into a hut, it's a 1 bedroom. Super small. Liam wouldn't even be able to stand properly in here. She guides me to the kitchen. I stare up on the ceiling that's almost touching my head. There's a big water hole in the ceiling. This is awful... who even let this thing be built?

I raise the wand "fix it, fix it all" the wand shoots out its purple hue over the hut then soon disappears. Revealing a beautiful 2 story, 3 bedroom house with no holes, leaks nothing. I step outside, even the roof has been replaced by stone and wood instead of just straw.

The little girl runs to me and hugs me "thank you!" I hug her back. The town watches me, they saw what just happened

A few raise their hands "me next!"

I raise the wand high, then bring it down to the ground. "Fix everything!" The hue appears, then disappears.

We walk through the dark forest again, that is now our combined town. Well our horses are walking, we're sitting. After a few hours of actual sitting with the towns people we decided to leave so we can get to KettleVille.

We slowly arrive to there and go to the town. The town isn't like Floravera. There are many in leathers and giving me dirty looks as I enter. "Why is the Queen here!?" A man speaks up.

Liam's horse steps in front of him. "Shes here to help you that's why. Got a problem?" The shakes his head and steps back. Liam looks over at me, giving a go-ahead.

"Like the others?" He nods. I raise the staff and am ready to shout then I see someone lunge to my left. I step back, letting them miss me. He quickly catches himself. I spin the staff around fast causing it to hit him straight across the face. He knocks out instantly.

Everyone around me but Liam is in shock, not at what he did but what I did. Seriously it's as if they expect me to be a damsel in destress. "Seize him" Vincent says to the guards. They take action and take the guard away. "Are you okay?" Vincent asks.

"I'm fine." I then raise the staff to do it again before anyone can move. "Lighten, and refresh this place... and their style."

I hear Liam chuckle as the hue takes over the town. Then when it disappears the town is this beautiful city, most are still in their leathers then others have look like they just got back from vacation.

Liam helps me off my horse. We then walk into the palace. "You did great today. And I like Oakville if that's what you wanna change it to."

I stare around at the palace as it's beautiful detailing. I've been here I think twice but I never cared to pay attention like I am now. "Well thank you..." I stop myself from saying something else

Even though me and Liam are getting married, we haven't even had a first date yet, and neither one of us proposed really. So it's like a forced marriage but it doesn't feel that way. But I still don't know what to call him... I guess fiancé?

He eyes me suspiciously at my cut off words. "You know we still have to figure out our last names."

"Kelvick- Valente" I answer.

"Oh so you just get the last name like that?" He chuckles.

"Yep." I say

"I'll argue with you about it later in my bed." He smirked. I had to stop myself from telling him to argue now. I roll my eyes at him then walk away. I barely get 2 steps before I yanked back into his arms. "Or we can argue now?"

I involuntarily nod. This man here. He's got me head over heels. Dare I say love? I do. I love him, I just don't know how to say it.

He grabs, and tosses me over his shoulder before carrying me up to his room.

Sorry this is overly long. I tried my best to cram it all in here, it didn't work that well lol. Also fyi she's changing the architecture of the house, and adding room to it. Not any of the interior of it unless she's making a new house... if that makes sense.
