Pain seers through my shoulder as I'm stabbed above the heart. "Stop it! You'll kill her!" Preston yells. He pushes Ashton back making him almost fall. This causes the sword to fall from me.

"I almost did before but that freakin Kelvick stopped me." He argues.

"We agreed not to kill her." Preston argues back

"No I said I would try. Plus we're gonna take over Floravera anyways so she'll die regardless." Ashton raises his sword to me again.

Then I hear wings flapping. All 3 of us look up to see a giant black dragon fly in. It lands near us, and who jumps off? I squint to see. "Fucking Kelvick!?" Ashton yells. "Guess it's 2 birds with one stone then." Then he hands another sword to Preston. "Kill him"

Preston backs away from the sword. "No."

"You're pathetic. Fine I'll do it myself." He says then turns to where Liam is, he's running to us, sword up.

"No! Liam get back!" I scream at Liam. He doesn't hear me or ignores me. Ashton meets him halfway, they fight. Swords flying. I stand from where I was kneeling. My shoulder burns like hell. My arm can barely even be raised. "Preston you have to stop him!"

"There's nothing I can do. I'm sorry." He backs away from me. Then slowly backs into the forest; disappearing.

I turn my attention back to Liam and Ashton. Liam is thrown, literally thrown back. He flies right in front of me, landing on his back. Then slides to in front of my feet. He's winded. He looks up at me. "Oh hey baby." He groans and rolls over "you okay?"

I don't even have a chance to answer. Ashton is already running at us. His sword is aimed at Liam. "Indudion!" I scream at him. A surge flies through, knocking him off his feet. He falls to the ground. I can't do a death spell, not yet. Liam is too close.

Liam gets up, inspects my shoulder. "Nice work" he's still out of breath.

"I'm fine go kill him" I say.

He nods then picks up his sword. "You're lucky I love you." He then charges at Ashton. I stand there speechless. He just said love... Liam Kelvick loves me. I so wish I was at home so I could fan girl over that.

I pick up my sword and the other one two, it hurts but if I win this. It won't hurt as bad. I raise my head, letting myself feel the ground beneath me. Then letting it surge through me. Immunity, & strength power both course through my bloodstream.

I point my vision right at Ashton. "Keetna!" A lightning strike shoots down and hits Liam's sword, that then hits Ashton. This allows Liam to be able to stab him.

Ashton falls back. He's down on all 4s. Liam raises the sword ready to blunge. Ashton does what I did with the ground beneath me, and rolls away from the sword at fast speed. Then kick the sword away from Liam.

"Bling!" He's shocked again but this time from the ground. "Liam behind me." Liam runs to me and gets behind me. "Elkidnou!" I scream the death spell at Ashton. He falls. His body going ridged, then limp in an instant.

I turn around to check on Liam. He's okay, and standing in front of me. "You did it! You killed him. That was amazing!" He's smiling as he's proud of me.

He looks at me, then my shoulder. "Oh my gosh Ari you're bleeding!" He takes his shirt off, and wraps it around my shoulder that is bleeding like crazy now.

My knees give out underneath me. He catches me, and lays me on the ground. "The death spell is a powerful thing. The universe must keep its balance." One thing I didn't mention... the death spell was what killed my mother.

When she used it in a panic to kill the thief, it killed him instantly. Then targeted her, it worked slowly. Targeting all of her organs, and within 6 weeks she was gone. I was already injured so it will take less than 6 hours for me.

"No Ari! You should have let me kill him. Not you. You can't go. We're finally getting married." He held me in his lap, he was bawling like a baby. It was adorable.

"It's okay. I get to die in your arms, while you're shirtless. It's a dream come true." I try to joke but all that comes out is blood, it's happening faster than I thought.

He cries as he laughs. His thumb caresses my cheek. "You can't go, not until the wedding."

"I won't make it to the wedding. It's okay, you'll find someone that will make you happy." I try to reason with him.

"I don't want anyone else. I want you. I've always wanted you. Arabella I've been in love with you before I even knew what love was." He says. I smile up at him

"Who would have thought that we felt the same way all along." I chuckle. "I love you Liam Kelvick, always have."

His eyes soften "prove it to me and stay the hell alive."

I shake my head. "I can't, you know that." My vision gets blurry. "See you later alligator." He cries more.

He leans down and kisses me. I try to kiss back but I can't. It all goes black.
