Stacey's POV
As I stand in front of the mirror, I can't help but smile. The pink dress I chose feels just right for the interview today. It's bright and cheerful, and I think it really suits me.
Usually, I dress up just to make myself feel good, but today feels different. I want others to see me shine.
Thinking about the interview makes me excited. I know that the way I look can help make a strong first impression.
"Ang ganda!"
Tumingin ako sa likod ko at nakita si Maloi
"Thank you for fixing and designing my place" i said at pinagmasdan ang buong lugar.
Si Maloi ang nag design sa condo ko dahil dito gaganapin ang interview for the documentary.
Yes, i accepted the offer. Jho was right, i should separate my personal life from work.
She's the journalist and one of the producer who will ask me things during interviews.
"Not too pink, sakto lang. I have to go now, may kasunod pa akong client. Congratulations and goodluck to your documentary"
We said our goodbyes at ako nalang ang naiwan sa condo.
Ate Sol not here, she's busy with a lot of paper works.
Naupo ako sa sofa kung saan ako uupo mamaya.
I looked at my wrist watch then my phone.
In a minute dadating na sila. So i took a deep breath, trying to calm myself.
Napatingin ako sa pinto. I think they're here.
I composed myself first before opening the door.
"Good afternoon Ms. Stacey!" The videographer greeted me as i met her eye.
She's cute and petite lady and i heard she captured most of the good documentaries.
"Ms. Gabi!" I greeted back at binuksan ng malaki ang pinto para komportable silang makapasok.
Tumingin ako sa likod niya and saw two other people.
Leo, the sound director and also he's the one na pinag kakatiwalaan ng director namin. Since the director presence is not necessary during the interview, wala siya dito.
"Leo" i said 'cause he prefers to call him by just his name.
Ngumiti siya sa'kin at sumunod sa pag pasok ni Gabi.
My eyes turned to her at nag tama ang tingin namin.
Natigilan ako saglit ng lumapit na siya sa harap ko. I can smell her perfume and can see every inch of her face.
Nothings really changed, except the way she looks at me.
"Ms. Robles" i said with a tone of professionalism
Tumango lang siya at hindi manlang ngumiti bago ako lampasan at pumasok sa loob.
Sa ibang tao, mukha siyang intimidating but for me, she's just someone i used to know.
"Your place is cozy, i like it" sabi ni Leo kaya natuwa ako.
"One of my closest friend decorated it. I'll recommend her to you if you want" i said at tumango naman siya
