Michael stood outside the bunker, the freezing wind biting at his skin as he paced, his thoughts restless and uneasy. "For some reason, I don't trust that Bernhard guy," he muttered to himself, glancing over his shoulder at the steel door. Something about the man had set him on edge-the coldness in his eyes, the subtle authority in his voice.

Suddenly, a sharp gunshot shattered the silence.

Michael's heart lurched, and without thinking, he lunged for the bunker door, wrenching it open. Inside, his worst fear lay before him. His father, Alwin, was sprawled on the ground, a fresh, crimson wound bleeding from his head. And standing over him, gun still in hand, was Bernhard, his face devoid of remorse.

"What have you done?" Michael screamed, voice raw with horror and fury.

Bernhard looked down at him, almost indifferent. "I've done exactly what I came here to do."

A storm of rage surged through Michael, and he charged at Bernhard, fists clenched and vision blurred with anger. But Bernhard moved with lethal precision, catching Michael mid-stride and hurling him against the steel wall. The impact left Michael gasping for air, pain shooting through his back as he struggled to stand.

"You're still too young to understand," Bernhard said coldly, turning away without a second glance.

Michael staggered up, watching as Bernhard calmly walked to the bunker door. He stumbled after him, determined to catch him, to make him pay. But as Bernhard stepped outside, his boots ignited with a burst of flame, lifting him effortlessly into the air. Fire roared beneath him, propelling him upward like a rocket, leaving Michael staring in helpless fury.

Collapsing to his knees in the snow, Michael's eyes locked onto the distant figure vanishing into the sky. Tears blurred his vision, but he didn't care. His voice trembled with a promise of revenge, fists clenching so tightly they ached. "I'll find you," he whispered, as the first tear rolled down his face.

And as the silence returned, Michael's sobs filled the emptiness, a vow burning within him to make Bernhard pay for everything he'd taken
