Jisungs POV again:

It was one of those long but productive days in the studio, where we poured everything we had into the last song for our comeback. Time was tight, and each of us was kind of caught in a tunnel vision – we wanted this song to be perfect. We were close to recording the last verse, but something still didn't feel quite right. The song felt good, no question, but we were looking for that final spark that would turn the track into something truly special.

I sat with my headphones on, staring at the screen in front of me. My fingers danced over the keys as I went through the melody I was about to record. We had gone over the song so many times – the lyrics, the harmonies, the transitions – but something just wasn't flowing. And it was exactly at that moment when you feel like you're going around in circles.

»Jisung, everything okay?«  Chan asked as he looked at me. »Are you ready for your part?«

I nodded, although I wasn't entirely sure inside. »Yeah, I think so. Let's keep going.«

As I prepared to record my part, I noticed Seungmin sitting in the corner of the room on his chair, muttering to himself. I had a feeling he was already working on some crazy idea again. And sure enough, as soon as I started the first line of my part, I heard him suddenly jump out of the silence.

»Hey, guys, what do you think about recording a Christmas song now?«

I stopped singing in the middle of the line and stared at him. A Christmas song? Now? It wasn't even autumn yet. It felt so far away, yet Seungmin had thrown this completely unexpected idea into the room.

»WHAT?« Felix also turned to him. »What are you talking about, Seungmin? Christmas is months away!«

Seungmin grinned widely. »I know, but imagine this: If we record a Christmas song now and release it in December, we'd be the first ones to do something like that. We'd totally surprise the fans!«

»What the...«, I mumbled, pulling the headphones off my ears. »That makes no sense, Seungmin! It's way too early for Christmas! We're in the middle of comeback preparation, and you're talking about a Christmas song?«

»Come on, Jisung,« he said, shrugging. »Think about it. The Christmas song could be a great surprise for the fans! We'd be the ones who kind of 'move Christmas forward'. And if we record it now, we can just release it at the perfect moment later.«

»Yeah, but the perfect moment is in December!« Chan replied, already frowning. »It makes no sense to record a Christmas song now. What vibe are we supposed to give it? No one's in the Christmas mood right now, and Christmas is still so far away.«

»And what if we're the first group to release something Christmas-y ahead of time?« Seungmin continued, as if he wouldn't give up. »We could prepare the song now, and then everything would be ready when the time comes. People would be surprised that we have the song so early. Christmas comes every year anyway. Why not just make the best of it now?«

»Seungmin, you're crazy,« Hyunjin said, laughing, but I could also tell he was shaking his head. »Christmas songs don't just come out now. What if they feel totally out of place because no one's thinking about Christmas?«

»I mean, I get what you're saying,« Felix said, leaning back in his chair. »But Christmas is still so far away. I can't even imagine a Christmas song right now.«

I sighed and put the headphones back on, but it was clear that Seungmin wasn't giving up. »Okay, okay, I'll admit, the idea is... interesting,« I finally said, looking at the whole group. »But we're in the middle of working on the comeback, and thinking about that right now really doesn't make sense. We need to focus on this song. Christmas is so far away.«
