Over the next few months, I really tried to focus more on Minho and the others, and it actually went pretty well. I didn't neglect the others as much. Now I only met with Yeona once or twice every two weeks.

Winter slowly arrived and the first snow landed on the ground.

I loved the winter because of the snow and Christmas.

One day we all were making Christmas cookies. It was quiet chaotic.

Chan tried to give Felix and Seungmin the easiest tasks and keep them away from the oven. Changbin made jokes by using the flour packets as weights and Hyunjin tried to steal some of the dough while Jeongin always secretly put a few finished cookies in his pocket. I pretended not to see it and kept poking the dough with the cookie cutters while Minho tried to save the cookies from Jeongin in the other hand.

And then there was me. I may or may not have been taking the whole cookie-making process way too seriously. I mean, it's cookies, right? You have to make sure everything is perfect, so I was definitely super focused on lining the cookie cutters up just right. But then, out of nowhere, I decided it would be a great idea to use one of the bigger cookie cutters for a giant cookie. A giant, epic cookie that I could maybe hang on the Christmas tree... or eat all by myself later.

Minho shot me a look, and I could tell he knew exactly what I was thinking. He tried to stop me. »Jisung, you can't just make a cookie that big! It'll burn for sure.«

»But it'll be legendary!« I said, totally ignoring his concerns and placing the giant cookie on the baking sheet with way too much pride.

Of course, it wasn't long before the kitchen turned into a disaster zone. Changbin had turned the flour into a snowstorm (don't ask how), and Hyunjin had started a flour fight with Seungmin. They were throwing little flour bombs at each other while Chan tried to break it up, looking more exhausted than usual. In the middle of it all, I had my giant cookie baking away in the oven, while everyone else was getting flour on their faces and mixing random ingredients into bowls.

Then came the moment of truth. The timer went off, and I pulled out my cookie masterpiece, which was now a dark shade of brown and slightly... crispy around the edges. Oops.

Minho sighed dramatically. »I told you so,« he said, as he tried to save my poor overcooked giant cookie by delicately using a spatula to cut it in half. »This is what happens when you don't listen.«

I just grinned, holding up my slightly burnt creation like a trophy. »It's still a masterpiece. A little crisp never hurt anyone.«

Hyunjin, who was now covered in flour like a snowman, leaned over and took a piece. »It's... crunchy. Really crunchy. But hey, you tried.«

I laughed, taking a bite of my cookie and almost breaking a tooth. »It's perfectly crunchy,« I said, before pretending to chew a little too dramatically. »Definitely going on the tree.«

And just like that, I made an absolute mess of the kitchen, but at least we all had something to laugh about. Minho rolled his eyes at me, but I could see the smile tugging at the corner of his lips. I guess he couldn't help but love my ridiculousness.

The chaos continued, but for once, I didn't care about anything else. The moment was perfect — some burnt cookies and a lot of laughter. And honestly, I think I might have gotten more cookie dough in my hair than I actually baked.

The scent of hot chocolate filled the air, and it was one of those days when you felt like time had come to a standstill. The perfect moment to simply sit back and enjoy what was happening around you. I sat by the window, the cup of steaming chocolate in my hands, watching the snowflakes dance as they fell from the sky. It was calming, almost magical, to experience this stillness.

But the peace didn't last long. I could already hear the familiar sounds filling the dorm. It was a typical day, where everyone was doing their own thing, yet somehow always ended up in the same room together.

Minho, Changbin, and Seungmin had gathered in the living room to play Let's Dance. The tension was palpable as the three of them challenged each other. Minho, with his usual charisma, was the first to strike a pose and attempt to master the movements with precision. Changbin just grinned and started dancing wildly with his usual energy. Seungmin, who usually held back, but was still enthusiastic in his own way, tried to keep up, which only made things even funnier.

»You're really bad at this game, Changbin,« I heard Minho laugh as Changbin almost tripped over his own feet.

»I'm just too good for you, Minho,« Changbin responded theatrically while attempting one of his breakdance moves. Seungmin was busy twisting his body and trying to mimic the dance steps – of course, without much success.

In the dining room, Chan and Jeongin were sitting at the table. Chan had his laptop open, and they were watching something together on the screen. I couldn't quite make out what it was, but it seemed like a video they were watching, filled with laughter and occasional comments. Chan seemed to be trying to explain something to Jeongin, but the younger member just shook his head and grinned. Jeongin couldn't help but giggle as he kept correcting Chan, which led to even more laughter.

»Hyunjin, come on, look at this!« I suddenly heard Felix calling, and when I turned around, I saw the two of them sitting on the couch, completely immersed in their TikTok world. Felix was holding his phone in his hand, constantly scrolling through different TikToks. Hyunjin was more of a passive viewer, but Felix had other plans.

»You have to dance with me!« Felix demanded, trying to get Hyunjin to join in. I could see Hyunjin hesitating, crossing his arms, and pulling back a little.

»I don't want to,« Hyunjin replied, but Felix wasn't easily deterred.

»Come on! We can just do something fun. You just have to join in once!« Felix's eyes lit up as he pushed his phone toward Hyunjin. After a bit of convincing and many more laughs, Hyunjin finally reluctantly agreed. Felix, overjoyed, set up the camera and challenged Hyunjin to one of the many TikTok trends.

»You're such a mean person,« Hyunjin mumbled, but I could see he wasn't really angry – more amused and slightly annoyed by Felix's persistence.

As I continued to watch them, I couldn't help but smile. It was so typical of them to be spontaneous and full of energy, but also incredibly charming. Felix's laughter echoed through the room, and even Hyunjin couldn't hold back for long as he started mimicking the dance moves.

But while all of this was happening, my world felt so calm and peaceful in that moment. The scene before me seemed almost like another reality as I sat there with my hot chocolate, my gaze soothingly fixed on the snow outside. It felt as if the world outside had come to a halt, and everything around me was in perfect harmony.

Sometimes, I just had to sit back and enjoy the moment. And it wasn't just the snow that moved me – it was the little, unexpected moments when I watched the others, as they slipped away into their own worlds, each in their own way, but somehow always together. It reminded me of how important these friendships were to us – we were a family, and no matter how loud or chaotic things got, I knew that I always had a place in this warm home.

I took another sip of my hot chocolate and let my gaze wander across the room once more. It was a moment of quiet before the next loud burst of laughter from Felix or another member would stir things up again. But that was exactly what made this winter day the perfect day.

Oh and by the way we already released the christmas Song Seungmin wanted to release when it was summer or fall and it's a pretty good one. We got 3 prices for it.

I don't know what to think about this chapter, cause it's a very nig time skip but I hope you get along with it.
