Promise me not to hide yourself when you're in pain, it's unfair that we laughed together but you cried alone.

I was shocked, my mind racing with a mixture of curiosity and relief. Could this be the key to bringing Yibo back? I reached for the box in Emma's hand, but she pulled back slightly, her eyes locking onto mine.

"Wait," she said, her voice barely above a whisper. "Let me show you." Emma's fingers trembled as she opened the box, revealing a beautifully crafted Ancient looking pendant. The intricate design seemed to dance in the dim light.

"It's a Ghost Pendant," Emma explained, her voice filled with reverence. "Grandma told me it can be used to set the destiny of souls who no longer belong here." My heart skipped a beat as I processed her words.

"Can it bring Yibo back?" I asked, my voice laced with desperation and hope. I couldn't bear the thought of living without him. I had promised to protect him, to love him, and I couldn't fulfill those promises if he was gone.

Emma's expression softened, her eyes reflecting my own longing. "I don't know, Sean," she said gently. "But Grandma believed it held the power to guide lost souls home."

As I gazed at the pendant, a surge of determination coursed through me. I would do anything to bring Yibo back, to hold him in my arms for real.

Emma's voice trembled. "According to Grandma, this pendant helps the soul find their path, their way back to where they belong."

I clutched the pendant, desperation creeping in. "Yibo's already gone, maybe... maybe this pendant can help him find peace."Emma said. Her eyes filled with compassion. "Maybe it can help him move on, Sean. He's trapped between two worlds - the living and the dead."

My heart stop "You think this pendant can... can help him let go?"

Emma nodded. "Grandma believed it could guide lost souls to the afterlife."

I felt a lump form in my throat. "And if it does... if it helps him move on..."

Emma's voice was barely audible. "Then you'll have to let him go, Sean."

I shook my head, the thought unbearable. "NO.....I can't.....i don't know if I can."

Emma's hand closed around mine, her touch warm and comforting. "You have to try, Sean. For Yibo's sake."

I stumbled towards Yibo, my heart heavy with emotion. His ethereal form seemed to shimmer, but his eyes remained locked on mine. I reached out, and to my surprise, my hand passed through his, but I felt an inexplicable warmth.

"I don't want to lose you again," I whispered, my voice cracking. "I... I can't... not again." Tears streamed down my face as I gazed into his eyes.

"Call me selfish, but I don't want to lose you, Yibo. I love you." My voice trembled. "After finally finding the closure, the love I've been searching for since childhood... I'm not going to let you go."

Yibo's expression softened, his eyes filled with compassion.

"I feel so invaluable in front of you," I continued, my words pouring out. "So helpless. Money, power - everything I have feels so useless."

As I spoke, Yibo's hand seemed to solidify, and he wiped away my tears. His touch sent shivers down my spine.

"Don't cry, Sean," he whispered, his voice barely audible.
