"I learnt it during our school break" I break the silence. Theo looks at me, unconvincingly. Something isn't adding up to him. I shift the attention, "So, how's that extra assignment coming? I ask. He smiles and answers, "I've found a way". I excitedly hug him again smiling. "That's great to hear!" I praise. A few other students walk into the library at this time, as I fix myself. "10pm, by the lake" I tell Theo, setting up the meeting just before I walk out of the library. Leaving Theo to think, just as Draco walks up to him, in the library. "That girl confuses me..." Theo confides to Draco. "Oh you mean the weird new girl?" the posh boy's voice asks, to gain clarity. Theo nods, "There's something about her, I can't quite figure it out." He admits. Draco picks his book off the bookshelf. "Time will tell" He tells Theo, adding "She is beautiful though..." he adds, teasing as they leave the library together.

I meet Ginny and Harry at dinner time, inside the great hall. We are sat in our seats, eating our dinners. "Seraphina, have you finished with the book I leant you?" Harry leans over the table, to ask me. I shake my head sideways. "Not quite, but I will hand it back when I am done" I smile in response, showing I remember it was just a lend. "What book is this?" Ginny asks intrigued. "It's nothing" I uncomfortably shut down. Just as everyone keeps eating, and Dumbledore stands to do is announcements, the great hall doors fly open, and every single student falls silent. A rather dishevelled professor dressed in all black comes running in the hall. His robes ripped, with a minor injury to his leg. I sit from the table, trying to keep a straight face, watching this unfold. My hands tense into a fist, I don't even notice Mattheo's glare on me. Professor Snape, comes right up to Dumbledore, and they both hurrily leave the room. Professor Mcgonagall stands up, and after a few minutes, she dismisses the students, and tells us to go back to our common rooms.

As everyone dismisses,  theres a scared unknown feeling amongst everyone. As we all ferry out through the corridors, just as it becomes busy. I use the opportunity to sneak away from the crowd, and walk down a different corridor alone. My hand still tense with worry, I hastily make my way alone to Dumbledore office. I get to the door, and look over my shoulders. Not seeing anyone watching me. I open the office door and storm inside, closing the door. Mattheo was watching from the shadows using an invisibility spell. He hurries back to the slytherin common room. Once inside the office, my hace is red with anger, both professors are stood looking at me in silence. "Where were you? I was worried!" I demand and shout at him, shaking from anger, looking directly at Professor Snape. Professor Dumbledore steps back, as I see his leg in in more detail. A tear falls down my cheek, as I lift my wand up, "Reparifors" I say aiming at his leg. Watching the burn repair on his leg. "I lost mum to those undead things, I don't want to lose you too!" I declare upset, before I storm back out of the headmaster's office. Tears streaming down my face, I put on my cloak hood, and I run fast out of the castle. Feeling the facade break a bit, I run to the lake.

Meanwhile, in slytherin common room, Mattheo walks back in, with a smug smile on his face. He sits down by his friends, feeling pleased with himself. Draco notices this first, as Theo reads his book, checking his watch. "What's with that look?" Draco asks, prompting Theo to look up from the book. "You will never guess what I just saw?!" He excitedly exclaims. Draco and Theo shakes their heads. "Not this again, Mattheo... just leave her alone" Theo speaks up, outting his book away. This raises Mattheo's eyebrow, "So you don't want to know, that I saw Seraphina in the headmasters office" He finishes. Theo thinks to himself, why was she there. "Are you sure?" Theo asks outloud, to be met with Mattheo's head nodding yes. Theo looks at his watch again, realises how late it is. Before he puts his book away, and rushes out of the common room. Leaving Mattheo and Draco talking amongst themselves. Both agreeing that was a bit weird.

Theo runs through the dark corridors, in his black cloak, almost fully invisible within the dark shadows. He exits the castle, and runs all the way towards the lake. Stopping moments away, seeing the outline of a cloaked figure sat there, with her head in her hands. He approaches her silently. I wipe my face with the side of my cloak, as I begin to hear footsteps. Turning around and looking up at Theo stood there in his cloak. He can see the sadness behind my eyes. He opens his arms, and I just fall into them, pressing my head into his shoulder. We both experience another moment, I look up at smile at him. We breifly share a kiss. A feeling of butterflies appear in my stomach. He pauses, while I'm still in his embrace. The thought of what Mattheo told him, weighing heavily on his mind. "Seraphina, why were you at the headmaster's office?" He asks, folowing with, "Mattheo saw you go in there..." he finishes. I pause for a moment. I pull away from his embrace, turning away from him. He grabs my wrist firmly. I look out to the lake, feeling his touch. "You'll understand soon enough on our little excursion." I say. As I follow Theo towards a secret passage, my heart beats fast. I know he'll learn the truth soon enough, and that scares me. The thought ricochets through my mind.
