As they pull up to the driveway of the farm, the car is quickly swarmed. Sicily drowsily makes her way out of the car. her entire body sore, her arms and face riddled with cuts and glass shrapnel. Carol is the first to approach her.

"Oh my god honey! Are you okay?"

she lets out a hum.

"I'm tired, I got glass everywhere." She puts her arms out in front of her to show her.

"Let's fix that." Carol brings her to the fire and sits her on a log.

"Where's Daryl?" She asked, trying to seem offhand and casual was not her thing, nothing about her was casual.

"He just got back, seemed real concerned about the group. In fact, he is staring lasers in the back of your head." She says in an 'as a matter of fact' tone. Sicily's posture straightened.

"Oh- I'm sure he's worried about everyone... he is just checking to make sure I'm okay." Sicily didn't know why she was lying to Carol. Knowing full and well the woman is the closest thing to a friend outside of her sisters.

"No doubt about that since he is slowly making his way over." She almost snorts. Daryl was in fact, slowly sneaking up on the two. Making sure to pick at things around the camp to make sure nobody suspected he was absolutely making a b-line to the woman.

Sicily's face got red as she bit off a smile. He was finally beside her. He took a seat on the ground next to her, completely facing her. She turns her head.

"Catch anything?"

"Yeah, a headache from you." He says placing his chin on hid fore arms, his arms resting on his knees, slightly leaning towards her. Carol offered a knowing glance before she left to "fetch tweezers."

"You dont listen do ya." He scolds, one of his hands falling to pick at her shirt, taking a piece of glass off of her shirt. She lets out a soft laugh.

"i dont know what youre talking about."

"You were supposed to sleep."

"All day?"

"....."

"Daryl?"

his eyes shift to the fire, a small toothy grin paints his face. Just enough for Sicily to catch a glimpse of a canine.

"You know what I meant." he places his mouth on the inside of his elbow. A heavy pause, carol still isn't back. Her arms hurts, any movement forces the shards to slice even harder into her skin. she hisses out.

"What's wrong." his arms and knees drop; he's in front of her. Inspecting her face and moving her hair slightly out from her neck. She smiles, a soft one that makes his chest feel too tight.

"Woman you deaf? I said what's wrong." She leans forward, his head lifts. Hes barely three inches from her.

"You care..." She states. His hands pull away and her smile drops a little.

"Nah... nah that's not-" He shakes his head and sits back on his knees; the thought scares him. Admitting that to her?

Hell no, he couldn't do that. Her face falls more, and she starts searching his face. Hes biting his lip and keeping his eyes off to the side, ignoring her face. She leans back.

"Oh." His head snaps as he senses disappointment. His eyebrows close together as he continues to chew on his lip. Just then carol rounds the corner and sits in front of the two, not paying much mind to the tension brewing heavily. Daryl's eyes trying to meet hers, trying to silently tell her something. She couldn't look at him and it stung.

Carol slowly starts pulling out the shards. She winces and hisses, Daryl hand twitches. He wants to reach for her. The next time her face clenches, she feels his hand stroke her leg softly. Fingers gracing from her ankle up to her calf, slowly and gently. Barely moving as, he continues to stare at her. She seems to translate his action and finally meets him with a steely glare, tears welling from the stinging pain of the tweezers digging in her arm.

The action is clear to him.

Their soft moment was interrupted by Maggie and Beth rushing over. Beth hugging her closely, Maggie inspecting her body even more than carol had. Their mindless chatter fills the atmosphere. Daryl spaces off, his hands still tracing shapes into her leg.

Carol pulled out the final thirteenth peace before she rubs the wounds with alcohol. She bandages a few bigger ones. She stands and dismisses Beth and Maggie. Daryl stays by her, a comfortable distance between them.

"We brought back someone." She turns her head slightly towards him.He looks at her confused, then it clicks. His eyes squint and his head falls back.

"The hell you mean y'all brought sum' back" she sighs and lowers her head

"Fuck if i know."

"Damn it rick." The man mumbles under his breath, Sicily grabs ahold of his hand and takes him towards rick and Glenn.

"Yall brought someone back? Aren't we damn near packed already?" Rick puts a hand to his forehead.

"Yes, Daryl we brought someone back. He's alive and injured, that's all we know about him. He looks young, bout a year or two younger than Maggie." He motions to the trunk, everyone stepping back. Rick pops the back end and there sits a boy with his hands tied behind his back and a goose egg forming on the side of his head.

"What do we do?" Sicily questions, tilting her head sideways to look at rick. He rubs his jaw and then motions for Daryl to help him pick up the boy. He does so and they start to carry him over to the barn. Sicily rushes to open up the doors for them.  Once inside, rick sits in thought for a moment.

"Sicky, you got any rope?" He questions, she nods and climbs up the ladder to the top of the barn. Daryl scoffs slightly.

"You got a problem?" Rick says with a slight smile peeking through.

"Aint got no fuckin' problem." He throws his arm upward slightly and looks off to the side. Rick lets out a tired sigh, Sicily descends form the top of the barn with rope and duct tape in her hand. She hands both to rick.

"Should probably tape his mouth so he can't scream and attract walkers." Rick nods and thanks her.

He tapes up the boy's mouth and bounds his arms and legs.

"Now, we wait..." They exit the barn, and enter back onto their camp.
