CHAPTER 24

"say yes to heaven, say yes to me."

<3

"I'm going to kill you."

"Please don't."

I lunged for my phone in Chloe's hand as she screamed. Amelia looked between us, mindlessly chewing on french fries we got from McDonald's only a few minutes ago. While I had been too focused on formulating my messages to Vincent, Chloe had swiped the phone out of my hand and send him the photo I took of myself in her dress.

Mortified, I looked at my phone in her hand as the picture was sent. There was nothing I could do now. Vincent would see the photo. Chloe glanced at my phone and once she saw the picture had been delivered she smirked. Then the 'delivered' under the photo changed to 'read' and she grinned. Evilly.

"I'm going to plan your murder. Like actually. I'm plotting right now as we speak," I glared at her and swiped my phone back, trying to ignore her lurching in my gut.

She gave it to me without a fight, chuckling like some evil mastermind.

"You look hot. I'm sure he appreciated it. I don't see what the big deal is," she shrugged, tucking a black curl behind her pixie ears.

"Stop the violence," Amelia said in a bored tone, dipping her fry in sweet and sour sauce.

"And you," I pointed a finger accusingly, narrowing my eyes, "you just watched and let it happen. Where's the loyalty?"

"I think she did you a favor," Amelia smiled, "After what we heard, it sounds like this is just the push he needs."

I swallowed nervously as I felt a pit of nervousness form in my stomach, a big black hole of doom making me cramp. "But what if he doesn't like it?" I cringe, my voice comes out as an embarrassed whisper.

"Oh, he will," Chloe grins, "Trust."

"Has he not responded? He already saw the photo," Amelia says with a mouthful.

I frown and check my phone even though I already know the answer.

"No," I responded, glumly.

Chloe walked up the street and signaled for a cab. We had left the club opening to get McDonalds and now we were standing on the sidewalk as crowds of partying people walked past in waves. I shivered and shoved my hands in my coat pockets.

A few seconds later one pulled up and she looked at me, expectantly, "Well then you should probably show it to him in person then."

"Guys just because it's his apartment doesn't mean he is going to be there. He probably has work," I walk over, "Where are you guys going?"
