MYLANN
IN KOREA

The second I stepped foot in Korea, Jungkook had everything on lock. He wasn't about to let anyone know I was here. He had everything arranged to keep things discreet, knowing his house was constantly surrounded by fans and paparazzi. So he had everything set up at a hidden spot outside the city.

The drive took almost an hour, and when we pulled up, the house was gorgeous, tucked away in the middle of nowhere, with security making sure no one could even breathe near it. Before I could fully take it in, the door swung open, and there he was. Jungkook was waiting for me outside and without a second thought, I ran to him, he scooped me up into a tight hug, lifting me off the ground. His arms wrapped around me hard.

I missed you so much, he whispers.

I missed you too, I reply.

After staying wrapped up in each other for what feels like forever, Jungkook finally sets me down gently, but his arms stay firmly around my waist, his dark eyes locked on mine.

You're so pretty, he says, brushing a stray hair from my face.

I look a mess right now but thank you.

You don't, he laughs. Maybe just a little bit now that I think of it.

I smack his chest, pretending to be annoyed.

—  Shut up.

Nah, for real, though, you're perfect, he says, pulling me closer again.

Jungkook's hands slide down to my waist, his thumbs rubbing slow circles against my hips. He looks at me like I'm the only person in the world.

I can't believe you're here, he murmured, his voice low. I was losing my mind not seeing you.

I bit my lip, trying to fight back a smile.

You don't have to be so dramatic, Kookie. It hasn't been that long.

He tilted his head, his brows lifting like he can't believe I just said that.

You telling me three months isn't long enough ? Girl, I was about to fly out there myself.

I laughed softly, my hands resting against his chest.

Your obsession with me needs to be studied.

Stop bullying me, he laughs, grabbing my hand. Now come on. I didn't go through all this to stand outside all night.

He laced his fingers with mine and led me into the house.

I just got out of the shower, feeling refreshed as I slip into my comfy pajamas. The smell of something mouthwatering pulls me toward the kitchen. When I walk in, Jungkook's at the stove, stirring something in a pan with that focused look he gets when he's in his zone.

Smells good. I say, leaning on the counter for a moment before walking over to him.

Without thinking, I wrap my arms around his waist from behind, resting my head against his back.

You smell good too, I say, inhaling the fresh scent of his cologne on his clothes.

So do you.
