JUNGKOOK
AT LOMBOK
PT1We finally arrive at the villa I booked in Lombok, and it's like the universe just wanted to make this trip as difficult as possible. Between barely getting any sleep because we stayed up talking all night, then dragging ourselves out of bed at 6 AM, and the chaos with Mylann's suitcase being left behind by the security team—everything's been a mess. And don't even get me started on the three-hour delay at the airport for no reason.
Now, we're here, and honestly ? We look like zombies. Exhausted, starving, and just drained from everything that's happened. I can tell Mylann is done before I even glance at her. The look on her face says it all. Her eyes are half-lidded, her lips pressed into a thin line like she's trying to hold it together, but every part of her is screaming that she just wants to go back to sleep and forget this day ever happened.
She's not saying much, but it's clear that she's not in the mood for anything or anyone. Her posture is stiff, arms crossed tightly over her chest, and she's barely looking at anyone as she stands there, waiting for the villa staff to show us in. The fact that she's been silent for the past few minutes speaks volumes—when Mylann's quiet, it's not a good sign.
— Baby, you good ? I ask, but I already know the answer.
She doesn't even bother turning to face me, just letting out a long sigh as she looks around the villa.
— Yeah, she mutters, but there's no energy behind it. Just... tired.
Her tone is flat, like she's reached her limit for the day, and I can't help but feel bad. I'm just praying she'll be able to relax for once. She's really, really not in the mood. Not even a little.
I sit down next to her, careful like I'm stepping into a minefield.
— You wanna eat ? Or maybe take a nap ? Shower, maybe ? I keep my tone light, lowkey afraid to set her off.
She lets out another sigh, leaning her head back against the couch.
— I don't care, she says flatly. Whatever.
I pause, glancing at her.
— Come on, you gotta give me something to work with. Food ? Shower ? Nap ?
Her eyes finally lock onto mine, and oh, she's done. The way she stares me down, I already know it's over.
— Jungkook, she snaps, sharp as hell, I said I don't care. Do what you want.
Right now, we're in the bathroom changing our clothes. Mylann is quiet, her exhaustion and frustration evident in her silence. I rather not talk to her when she's in this state because it'll 100% lead to an argument.
— Let's just rest for a bit, I suggest.
She nods, not meeting my eyes, and we both collapse onto the bed. As soon as we lie down, I wrap my arms around her, pulling her close. She nestles into me, her head resting on my chest. The tension in her body slowly begins to melt away as I stroke her back gently. I press a kiss to her forehead.
— I'm so tired. She murmurs
— I know, I whisper back, continuing to stroke her back soothingly.
She sighs softly, her body relaxing more into mine.
