MYLANN

4 months later.

It's been four months since Jungkook and I made it official, and honestly ? It's been so great so far. Life's hectic as hell—he's here, I'm there—but we always make it work. Most of the time he comes to LA since I'm extremely busy and it's just nice to spend time together after long period without seeing each other.
I'm not in love yet, it's too soon, but I really love him. He treats me right, and he's so good to me. We argue sometimes, but it's never that serious.

Today's a big day, though. We're flying to Korea so I can finally meet the members. I've been putting it off because, let's be real, not all of them are thrilled about me. But I made him meet my friends, so it's only fair I meet them too. I just hope everything goes smoothly.

When we land in Seoul, everything moves fast. No lingering, no stopping for air—I barely have time to take in the city before we're whisked into a sleek black car waiting just outside. The tinted windows provide a sense of security as we speed away from the airport.

Jungkook sits beside me, calm as ever, his hand resting reassuringly on my knee.

    You're okay ? He asks.

Yeah, just a bit nervous, I admit.

He squeezes my knee lightly, offering a small, understanding smile.

Don't be, he says, giving my knee a comforting squeeze. They'll love you once they get to know you.

We pull up to the same spot as last time. I'm so done,
I don't even bother unpacking right away. We just dump our bags at the door and head straight to his room, throwing on comfy clothes. We eat a quick meal, barely talking as exhaustion takes over, and then head straight to bed.

Next day.

Why is everything so sweet here ? I ask, scrunching my nose as I take another bite of my food.

And why is everything in America so salty ? He fires back, raising an eyebrow.

No, everything tastes like it's supposed to taste.

Yeah, well, your food still sucks, he says with a proud smile.

Well, I can't argue with that, I admit with a laugh. I do love Korean barbecue.

And I love you.

Eww, I reply, pretending to gag.

He laughs, clearly enjoying my reaction.

What's wrong with you ? I ask, shaking my head in disgust.

I don't know, I didn't mean to say that. I don't love you, it's actually the opposite.

Yeah, much better. For a moment, I thought you were serious.

I would never. You're not even pretty.

Um, not too much, though. I look absolutely gorgeous, I say, flipping my hair dramatically.

Who lied to you ? He shoots back, raising an eyebrow.
