"do you think i should be worried?" eliza spoke up, looking at lyra.
she furrowed her eyebrows at her best friend, locking her phone and placing it down, "what about?"
"chris," she stated, "i haven't heard from him since the influencer update post about me and oscar, he's unfollowed me and he's ignored all of my messages again. it just feels like the previous archie situation where he did this all over again," the girl explained. however, she wasn't as hurt as she was the last time chris did this. in a way, she felt sick of his behaviour, as if she'd had enough and if he was willing to give up the trust and relationship they'd built, let him be.
"honestly, i think the man is a dick," lyra shrugged, to which her bestfriend laughed, "if he actually listened to you, he'd understand that there's literally nothing to worry about. like hello? oscar has no interest in you,"
"exactly!" eliza responded, throwing her arms up in frustration, "i swear, if he goes and does something even more stupid, i may have to hop back on the piano and my lyric book, at this rate,"
lyra nodded her head in agreement, she would so love eliza to destroy chris in song form. "i'm here for it, and he lowkey deserves it like right-" lyra's phone lit up. it was a message from matt.
lyra gasped slightly, "what? what is it?" eliza asked quickly.
"i don't think you want to know, and matt's told me not to say anything," lyra hesitated.
"no, i obviously want to know. you're shocked by whatever it is, so i wanna know," eliza responded, waiting for her bestfriend to explain.
"look on sophie's instagram..." lyra sighed. eliza furrowed her eyebrows and her heart dropped. but she could only hope she was imaging the worst and that chris wouldn't do that to her.
