There are two options for the face of Damien. It is left for you readers to decide. Option one is on top.
------------'-'--------------------'-'☆☆☆☆☆☆☆☆☆----------------------------------'-'----------------------------"well now that you know what we are capable of, how will it be new girl?" he asks as he came closer until he was inches apart from me. I could feel the coldness of his breath and see the sternness in his cold grey blue eyes which held my gaze. His eyes widened in suprise when i met his gaze confidently, arms crossed and said to him clearly on his face in a stern voice resisting my need to kick him.
"what makes you think that you scare me? What do you have over me anyway?" i ask with venom in my voice.
"fine. Have it your way." Damien said with a smirk on his face.
At that moment i couldn't help but think how did it come to this? In just a blink of an eye i went from being the only one who stands up to the most powerful guy in the college to an open declaration of war from him? It wasn't supposed to be like this. I was supposed to have a peaceful life in the four years i stay in this college. I was supposed to blend in and not attract any unnecessary attention. And look how that turns out?
One thing was clear, there's no going back now.
(8 hours earlier)
It started out like any other day. I woke up, brushed my teeth, took a refreshing shower, got dressed and went to college. But the moment i entered the college premises, i could see all eyes turn to me. I walked quite awkwardly to my first class. I could see many people openly gawk at me, some even looking at me and whispering something to their friends. Even when the teacher entered the class, she gave me a warning look before she started with the lessons.
By the time, the class ended and i was about to leave, our teacher Mrs. Johanson stopped me.
"Ms. Rebecca Jones?" she called out.
"yes ma'am?"
"i understand you are a scholarship student?" she questioned me with a small smile.
"yes ma'am." I replied.
"you need to know something then Rebecca, there are certain lines you can't cross if you are going to finish your education here." She said with a warning look. I thought she was warning me in a way of showing my place but her next words made me think otherwise.
"you are a bright girl Rebecca. I want you to make the most of things while you are here." She said with a hint of concern in your voice.
I left the class room where every student and even some teachers were giving me puzzling looks.
And that was how my entire day had gone until i met up with Andy for lunch.
"where's cindy?'' he asked munching on his apple.
"she's not coming today. She's sick" I answered taking a bite of my salad.
He stopped eating and looked up for a moment, concern evident on his face, before he could ask which i guessed he wanted to ask.
"she's fine. It's just a bad cold and she just needed to rest for a while. She'll be back tomorrow." I assured him as his expressions relaxed before he frowned again.
"why is everyone looking at you?"
I turned around and saw that almost every other person was openly gawking at me. It was then realisation had dawned on me. This was because of the little episode a few days back. Word must have spread that i slapped Damien. That explains why some of the teachers who didn't even know me are now sending me warning looks.
