Attack On The Base Part 2

Ochako jumped when she heard Kyoka and Denki scream, running down the hall and tripping over Bakugo on her way back. 
"Bakugo I-" 
Bakugo jumped, wrapping his arms around her as he trembled "I-I'm sorry I'm so-" 
"What's wrong?" 
"I couldn't save him." 
Ochako's heart sank "What are you talking about?" 
"H-he was right next to me, and than.. he wasn't. He just died. Just gone." 

Ochako heard screams all around her and she had no idea where to start. "Deku is probably fine, Bakugo. That being said, we are under attack." 

"I noticed." Bakugo was rattled, but right now, he needed to be a leader. "We should probably stick together." he sighed, going to the first door where Mirio was picking broken glass out of Tamaki 

"What happened?" 
"Eri came to me, said she needed a hug so picked her up and hugged her, but what I was actually holding, was a make shift bomb. She exploded in my arms!" 

Bakugo nodded "We're going through to asses the damage." 

Mirio sighed "He's going to be fine. I might need to stitch him up, but he'll be fine." 
Bakugo nodded, "Stay put. I'll be back with a first aid kit." Mirio nodded 

"Any cuts on you Lemillion?" 
"Nope. It all phased through me." 

Bakugo nodded, "Good. We'll be back." 

Ochako smiled weakly when Present Mic and Eraserhead ran towards her 
"Have you seen Eri?" 
"Not yet. Are you two okay?" 
"We're fine. Just worried about our daughter." 
Ochako huffed "We'll find her. She's a strong kid, I'm sure she's fine." 

Aizawa huffed "She shouldn't be here." 
"I know. But.. Unfortunately kids her age seem to go to war all the time these days." 

"Right. How's the kid?" Aizawa's eyes went down to her bump
"He's fine. I think." Ochako's hand went down to it with a slight frown 

"Good." They needed Deku at the top of his game right now, he couldn't be right after the death of his child. "We should get you to him so he can know that. We should probably get Bakugo to him too." 

Ochako sighed "Been looking for him. I don't know where he went." 

Aizawa sighed, hopefully he was okay, but also if he was in the thick of whatever this was, it was probably best to keep his pregnant wife away from the fight. 

Bakugo huffed, if they kept using Ochako and the baby against him.. Where would that take him? They could lure him anywhere with Ochako, but if there was something wrong with the baby, he would be in the med bay. 
"Let's check the med bay. Chances are that's where Eri is too, and I need to get a first aid kit for Suneater anyways." 

Ochako nodded, "Alright. Let's go. Do you want to find Eijiro?" 
"We'll find him after." 
Ochako frowned "Are you-" 
"I'm sure!" Bakugo huffed, Kirishima could hold his own, the well being of everyone he was closest with likely depended on Deku being mentally okay, and the only way for that to be the case was for him to know his family was okay. He got Ochako to the med bay, frowning when he saw that Deku wasn't there. Eri was still there, sobbing. 

"Mrs. Midoriya!" She wrapped her arms around Ochako, "Is the baby okay?" 
Ochako frowned, hugging Eri back "Yeah. H-he's fine, wh-" 
"Thank god I thought I killed him!" Eri saw her dads and ran to hug them too "So you two probably don't hate me either!" 
"No, of course we don't hate you!" 
"Did you see Deku?" Ochako asked 
"Yeah. He came in with a fake and than ran off looking for you." Katsuki grabbed a first aid kit and nodded his head "What way did he go?" 
"Towards the kitchen." 
"So we should have passed him." Katsuki frowned "I'm gonna get this first aid kit to Suneater and Lemillion." 
Eri frowned "What happened to them?" 
"Just some flesh wounds. Don't worry about it too much." 
Eri nodded sadly "o-okay." 

Ochako sighed "What about Deku." 
"we'll find him." Katsuki replied he just wasn't sure how. 

Ochako sighed "I'll go back to the kitchen." she replied, running back towards the kitchen, yelling for her husband. 
"Dekukun!" 

"Urarakasan!" She heard feet coming towards her fast, her husband's arms were around her in seconds. Ochako started to cry, and they weren't exactly tears of joy. She should have been relieved but she wasn't. She wasn't confident this was her husband. 

"Oh Ocha.. I've been looking everywhere for you! Deku whimpered "I was so scared I had lost you and the baby!" He got down on his knees, sobbing against her midsection. 
"I love you sweet little baby! I don't care who you are! I love you so much and you need to be okay."

Ochako smiled sadly, it was Deku alright "The baby is fine." She said softly 

Deku sobbed "Thank God! And you? Are you okay too?" 
"I'm find Dekukun." 
"Your neck is bleeding." 
"It's fine. Everything is fine." 
Deku nodded, kissing her belly a few times before standing up and kissing her lips softly 

"We need to check on everyone else." 

"Katsuki is fine. So are Mirio and Tamaki. Uh Eri is fine Mr. Aizawa and Mr. Yamada are fine too. But we need to check on everyone else." 

Deku huffed "Let's start with Kyoka and Denki." He murmured, kissing her cheek gently 

"Alright." Ochako replied, following him to what was supposed to be the most secure room on the base. Denki and Kyoka were on the ground, holding each other and crying. 

"What happened?" 
"We were both holding, Denji, but we realized neither of us actually were." Kyoka whimpered "So we came back here to check on him but he was gone." 

Deku felt his heart sink "We'll look around the base for him. Maybe someone else grabbed him, thinking he was something else. Maybe someone else is protecting him." Ochako murmured 

Denki nodded "maybe." 
"when you realized neither one of them was your baby, where were you?" Kyoka frowned, "In the dining hall." 

"we'll go back and check there." 

"Okay."

they ran to the kitchen to see if Denji was there, he wasn't. Deku sighed 
"Maybe someone grabbed him to protect him." 
"Maybe." Kyoka whimpered, though she really didn't believe it. 

Deku wasn't sure what they would want with a baby, so it seemed likely Denji was still on the base, but he supposed he wasn't sure why the villains primary target seemed to be a pregnant rescue hero. The villain didn't seem weak, so why were the picking on the weak? Why not go straight for him? He was their end goal, so why not go for it? Why play all of these games? He looked at Ochako and huffed 

"I'm sorry you guys are in the middle of this." 
"We're heroes. It's what we do." Kyoka replied, "Just.. Wish Denji wasn't-" She sobbed, she was terrified her son was gone. 

"We'll find him!" Deku sighed "he has to be here somewhere, right?" 

"Hopefully." Denki replied, he had no idea where to look though, he supposed if he had set his baby on the floor than it wasn't unlikely someone had grabbed him, he just hoped it was someone good.  

"We'll just start looking for him. Okay? We'll find him."
