Deku sighed, a pro hero, standing on a rooftop rain soaking through his hero suit as he watched the unassuming building for the eighth night in a row. Thinking about his wife in an attempt to keep himself warm. This was the life he had prayed for. Cold and alone on a rooftop in the rain. He sighed, he missed Ochako. He missed her more than he thought was possible, but no matter how many times he tried to call her, she wasn't picking up anymore. He had asked for the divorce, but he had gone back on it, pretty much immediately, but she had moved her things out of their home the next day. He had just wanted her to be safe and happy. She had asked him for a baby, he wasn't sure if he would ever be ready to be a father, certainly not any time soon, she deserved to be a mother though, she would be a fantastic one, so he had offered her a divorce and she had taken him up on it, and now he went home to an empty house with two extra rooms that could have been nurseries and slept in a bed that was big enough for three. He really did believe he had done the right thing, but it hurt like hell. He frowned when he felt Katsuki's hand on his shoulder.
"Hey I'm here to relieve you."
Deku nodded his head sadly, looking at his boots

"Never seen anyone so upset to go home."
Deku sighed "Just.. Going home to an empty house. It's new to me, and.. It sucks."

"Still not talking to cheeks?"

"She's still not returning my calls."
"Guess it must not be true than."
"What?"
"Eijiro heard the two of you were having a kid. Didn't think it was true but thought I might ask."

"I-it's not. Or if it is I don't know about it."

"Huh, well you can go to mine if you want."
"Don't want to bother Eijiro."

"He doesn't mind."

Deku sighed, "Thanks, but I-I think I'll just go home."

"Suit yourself."
Deku sighed going to his own house, walking through the home he had bought after he married Ochako, a room they had said would be a nursery, he had lead her on, but he really had thought he would be ready for all of that. He also thought he would have more time before Ochako was ready. He sighed, closing the door and going to his bedroom. He looked down at his boots and huffed he supposed it didn't matter that he had tracked mud through his house did it? He sighed, getting out of his hero costume and putting on something warmer, climbing into bed where he opened his phone and stared at Ochako's number for a long moment before closing out of it and putting his phone up for the night, falling into a fitful sleep. He woke up at seven the next morning to a text from Mina.

Deku sighed as he sat up and put on his reading glasses.

{Ashido} Heard Ochako is getting an upgrade for her hero costume.

{Deku} That's nice I guess?

{Ashido} Heard she wants a costume that can hide.. extra weight.

{Deku} Okay?

{Ashido} Like a baby bump?

Deku felt his heart sink, he hadn't even signed the divorce papers. She was already pregnant? He had heard rumors, and Kaminari had mentioned that she was showing symptoms Kyoka had before they found out she was pregnant. But Ochako threw up a lot, and a lot of her other symptoms could be explained away too, right? Deku hadn't heard she was seeing anyone.. What the fuck? Here he had been, crying for her while she was out, sleeping around! He wondered who the father was, he wondered how it had happened, how serious their relationship was. It really was over wasn't it? Or.. Did he need to calm down? This was Ashido he was talking to, and all she had said was that Ochako had been looking to upgrade her suit and that she might want to hide a bit of extra weight, he had needed to get bigger costumes in the past.. And Ochako wasn't a teenager anymore. Was she depressed from the divorce? He sighed, maybe he should try calling her again.
