It has been three years since Kaya got her human-esk form, Jason's family eventually visited again for Easter and he revealed her new form, They took his explanation with slight surprise but also understanding. So all is well in her new form, she eventually learned she can revert to her other form and even her wolf form too. But she got too comfortable in her human-like form since it's more akin to Jason.
A year after she gained her new form, she became pregnant, Jason was ecstatic about the news after hearing the news from the den's herbalist. After they told the news of their children to Jason's family, it didn't take long for them to show up at their doorstep often throughout the first pregnancy. Jason's mother was always right by Kaya's side throughout the time they visited, and it was often, she gave advice on what and what not to do throughout the pregnancy. Justin and Kotori were always found outside playing basketball with the hoop Jason installed after Kotori did eventually bother him about installing, which Justin was appreciative of. Aponivi and Rofl were ecstatic at the news of the pregnancy, often visiting and discussing things any soon-to-be grandparents ever would talk about, when both sides of the family visited together, they both often chatted about other subjects, Jason's mother and Rofl talk about women things, while Jason's Father and Aponivi talked about men things.
When the baby was born, which turned out to be a boy, Kaya and Jason named Silas, a name after the place he was born in, which meant "Forest". Both sides of the family were elated at the news of the baby boy, During the year of raising him, Kaya became pregnant again and later gave birth to a girl, which they named Sylvie, also meaning "Forest". Both children share characteristics of their parents, more so of their mother, both having ears and a tail akin to Kaya species, with ears and tail, their fur, more brown, akin to Jason's hair color, Silas has eyes resembling Jason's while Sylvie has Amber eyes like Kaya's.
It was a winter afternoon, snow was steadily falling, and the children were put to bed and were sound asleep, Jason and Kaya were cuddling on the couch, which was facing the large window. Jason was laying down with Kaya atop of him, she was nuzzling into his chest deeply as if he were to disappear at any moment, Jason had his arms around her under the blankets, holding her tight as if she would disappear at any moment. Both love each other so dearly, so much, It felt as if nothing to them mattered to them at that moment, The fireplace was alight and burning brilliantly, warming the room the two were cuddling in. Kaya can hear Jason's heartbeat, the soft beats of her love soothed her and put her at ease, as it always does when she hugs him. Jason can feel her heartbeat, even though all the fabric they are cuddling with and the clothes they have on. Jason knew he won life, living in his dream home, having a family with a beautiful wife, which, he never would have expected to meet as a completely different species, Now, Jason was as happy as ever, and that's all that matters now.
