The crisp air of October settled over the house, and excitement buzzed in the air as Y/N put the final touches on her angel costume. Soft, feathery wings shimmered with a faint silver hue, and her white dress flowed gracefully, catching the warm glow of the autumn sun filtering through the window. As she adjusted her halo in the mirror, a chorus of curious voices from the doorway caught her attention.
"Whoa, Y/N, what are you wearing?" Red asked, tilting his head with a mix of confusion and fascination.
Black's visor reflected the scene, and he felt his circuits falter for a moment. He shifted uncomfortably, feeling heat rise beneath his dark exterior. "Pretty..." he muttered under his breath, immediately embarrassed when White elbowed him with a playful snicker.
"Ooh, someone's flustered," White teased, earning a glare from Black.
"Cut it out, White," Red intervened, rolling his eyes. Then he turned back to Y/N, curiosity still bright in his voice. "But seriously, why are you dressed like that?"
Y/N sighed, a smile playing on her lips as she knelt down to their level. "It's Halloween, guys. It's a holiday where people dress up as different characters from books, games, or anything they like. Then, they go out at night and visit houses to collect candy. It's all part of the fun."
"CANDY?!" Green and White shouted in unison, their excitement bubbling over. They practically vibrated with energy, eyes wide with wonder.
"So, if we dress up, we get free candy?" Green's visor glistened as he bounced on his tiny feet.
Y/N chuckled. "Yes, exactly. And since you guys are, well, kind of kid-sized, you'll fit right in. I'll make you some buckets to hold your candy. Now, go ahead and make your own costumes."
The room erupted in chatter as the crewmates and imposters scattered, their imaginations ignited.

**Black's POV**
Black retreated to his room, mind racing with ideas. He wasn't one for flashy costumes, but he wanted something that would match his dark persona and also impress Y/N, though he'd never admit it. He found some old, tattered fabric and carefully fashioned it into a cloak. Adding jagged edges and splashes of red paint for effect, he turned to the cracked mirror on the wall and smirked. The result was a shadowy phantom, fearsome yet strangely captivating.
A knock on the door startled him. White's face popped in, eyes gleaming with mischief. "Are you trying to scare everyone or just Y/N?"
"Get out," Black muttered, but a smile betrayed him.
---
**White's POV**
White rummaged through a box of Y/N's old crafts, tossing items behind him until he found some shiny foil and cloth. A sly grin spread across his face as he wrapped himself in a shimmery, makeshift toga.
"I'll be a god," he declared to himself, striking a dramatic pose. He added a garland of fake ivy around his head and admired his reflection. He knew he'd be the life of the night—if he didn't get into trouble first.
---
**Red's POV**
Red was meticulous, sorting through scraps of material and cardboard until he pieced together a convincing astronaut suit. He carefully painted the details, ensuring each stroke was perfect. "If we're going to do this, we're doing it right," he said with determination.
---
**Purple's POV**
Purple fumbled with pieces of felt and sequins, trying to create a wizard's robe. He envisioned himself casting spells and dazzling everyone, but his paws kept getting tangled in the fabric. Frustration bubbled up until Blue passed by and offered a thumbs-up of encouragement. Purple's heart swelled, and he managed to finish his robe with a crooked but charming starry hat.

Finally, the sun dipped below the horizon, and the little crew was ready. Y/N gasped in delight as each crewmate paraded out in their homemade costumes. Black's phantom look was especially striking, and for a moment, she caught a glimpse of vulnerability in his expression before he masked it with his usual stoic demeanor.
"You all look amazing!" Y/N said, passing out buckets adorned with spooky stickers. "Now, stay close to me, and let's go get some candy!"
The streets were alive with laughter, and the crewmates eagerly joined the throngs of children and adults. Black had taken on the role of silent protector, walking just behind Y/N and casting wary glances at anyone who looked suspicious. Every now and then, he'd make a sudden growl or loom behind an unsuspecting trick-or-treater, earning shrieks and dropped candy. He couldn't help but smirk as his bucket filled quickly.
White, on the other hand, tried to snag extra candy from Red's bucket when he wasn't looking, only to earn a stern scolding from Y/N. "No stealing, White. That's not fair." White pouted but nodded, muttering something under his breath.
Purple had a harder time. The night was full of sudden scares, and at one house, a person in a ghost costume jumped out with a loud "Boo!" Purple screamed, dropping his bucket and bolting down the street before Y/N could stop him.
"Purple, wait!" she shouted, heart pounding. She quickly gathered the others. "We need to find him. Spread out and meet back at the house in 30 minutes."
---
**Blue's POV**
Blue combed the neighborhood, calling out for Purple as he moved through shadows and the dim glow of streetlights. Finally, he heard a faint whimper near a small creek. He found Purple, trembling and huddled behind a rock.
"Hey, it's okay," Blue said softly, kneeling beside him. "You don't have to be scared. We're all here for you."
Purple's eyes shimmered with tears, but a weak smile broke through as he reached out and hugged Blue tightly. Together, they made their way back to the house.
---
Y/N's heart leapt when she saw them return. "Purple! Don't run off like that again. I was so worried," she said, tears glistening as she pulled him into a hug.
"Sorry," Purple whispered, blushing under her affection but feeling safer than ever.
As the night wound down, Y/N looked around at her little crew, exhausted but happy. Halloween had been chaotic, thrilling, and heartwarming—a night none of them would forget. She smiled softly to herself.
"Next year," she thought, "we'll do this all over again."
