Chapter:11

I frown at the lack of spark. I walk back inside and grab a bucket from the attic. I walk back out into the back patio and place it on the ground. I check in the mirror and smile at my outfit for today. I grab the lighter and the matches from the cupboard and set it on the table. I smile as I hear the doorbell.

I unlock the door and frown as Ashley shove a brown bag into my hands. This is heavy. I walk over to the dining room table and place it on. I peer inside and smile as I saw liquor.

"So what are we burning?" she ask me.

I shrug. "Just some junk"

She smile. "Then after that?"

I walk into the kitchen and grab a water bottle.

"Oh you know skinny dipping and then crashing a party"

Ashley ran into the kitchen grinning. "Really? I knew there was a freaky side in you! I'm so proud of you"

I frown and turn toward her. "I was just kidding"

She frown. "Well I wasn't but since you mention skinny dipping, we should do it"

I turn to her as she text on her phone. "Great Andre and Jake are cool with it"

My eyes widen. "I repeat I was just kidding" I said.

Ash frown and glare at me. "I repeat I wasn't oh come on it'll be fun!"

I fix my dress. "Fun or freezing?" I ask her.

"It's not that cold" she said.

"It's January 25, have you seen the weather?" I ask her.

She roll her eyes. "What if I invite Sean?" she ask me.

Before I could answer the doorbell rang. I look over at Ash as she exit the kitchen. I walk upstairs to grab the box, but stop as the doorbell rang again.

"Ash aren't you going to get that?" I yell out to her.

"I am I'm just walking slowly to it" she yell.

I stop walking. "What?"

I enter my room and grab the box. I bit my lip and grab it. Their wasn't a lot to burn. Some people would just tell me to return these to him, but I think burning would be better. I mean he made it clear yesterday that he doesn't want this.

I pick up the box and exit my room heading downstairs. I smile as I saw them all lounging on the couch.

"Hey guys ready to start burning?" I ask them excitedly.

Andre gasp. "chels we never know you to do those kind of things"

I roll my eyes. "I'll burn them myself and then after we can do roast marshmallows"

"I thought we was going skinny dipping" Ash said.

"Cool you guys can see how fine and handsome I gotten" Jake grin.

"Jake you were never fine or handsome" Ash said.

"Ash that hurts you know I'm sensitive"

Ash snort. "The only thing that sensitive is your dick"

I cover my mouth as I laugh. Andre didn't care as he choke on the liquor.

"Damn" Andre laugh.

"Yeah, yeah let's go burn some shit" Jake mutter as he made his way toward the back patio.

I lit a paper on fire and threw it into the bucket. I open the box and grab one of his poems. I smile and threw it into the bucket. I grab the liquor and dump some into it. So the fire can be bigger. I watch as the fire dim. I walk back inside and grab the alcohol off the dining room table. I grab the bottle and walk back out.

"Anybody want a sip?" I ask them.

They accept the request. I remove the cap and swallow the vile liquor. I cough as it hit my throat. My eyes burn as I swallow it down. I gag as I wipe my mouth. I pass the bottle over to Jake. I grab his football jersey out of the box.

I sigh as I look at the number. I watch as Andre look through the box. His eyes widen.

"Chelsea those are Eric clothes" Andre said.

I roll my eyes and threw them into the fire. "No it's junk" I said.

Ash threw Alcohol into the fire. "Now it's history!" Ash yell.

I smile.

I shiver at the cold night air. I wrap my arms around me as I look out inti the beach. I jump as Andre hit my back.

"Oh come on it'll be fun" he smile and remove his clothes.

I look away and my eyes burn as I saw Jake run past me into the beach.

"Come on chels the waters warm" Jake shout.

"Liar! It's freezing I can tell" I said.

"Suit yourself" I smile as Andre jump into the water.

"What are you afraid of?" Ash ask me.

I arch my brow at her.

Her eyes widen. "Did you shave?" she ask me.

My jaw drop. "Of course!"

She remove her jeans. "Then come join the fun, I brought alcohol" she sang.

I scoff and grab the bottle. I swallow and cough lightly as I got use to the stench and taste.

"Hold on" I remove my shirt and then continue on till I have my undergarments.

"Let's go" I smile and walk toward the water.

"Woo!" Ash drink more liquor as she walk in the water.

I sigh and knew I would have to watch her so she wouldn't drown. I jump as the cold temperature of the water hit my feet. I took a deep breath and ignore my body need for warmth.

After a while my body got used to it. I continue on going deeper until the water was neck level.

"Chels want to play Marco polo?" Jake ask me.

Before I had time to answer a bright light was shone on us.

"What are you kids doing in there after hours?"

"Shit! The cops everyone swim toward that boulder" Jake said.

I swam over to Ash and wrap her arm around me. She was slowing me down, but I made it. We all stay quiet as more cops came onto the scene. My eyes widen as I saw material in their hands.

"Guys our clothes, what are we going to do?" I ask them.

"We can't stay or they'll catch us "Andre said.

"I'll make a distraction while you guys run for it" Jake said.

"We can't let you do that on your own" Ash said.

"It's either I get caught or we all do" Jake said.

"But-

Jake glare at me to be quiet.

"I'll help you" I said.

Jake eyes widen and he glare at me. "are you crazy? No you're about to graduate hell no! Out of the question"

In the distance I hear the sound of choppers. My eyes widen.

"Wait do you guys hear that?" I ask them.

Before we could make a run for it bright light was on us.

"We have you surrounded"
