****************Chels*************
I sigh as I look toward the yellow cobblestone house. I unbuckle my seatbelt as I grab my keys. I might as well give this a try. I walk up the driveway slowly as I went over the speck in my head. I have been memorizing the speech for over an hour.
I face the golden gates of the doorway. I raise my hand and press the doorbell. I wait patiently for someone to open the door.
I watch as the door slowly open to see Eric. I watch as his eyes widen for half a second, before they turn cold.
"Why are you here?" he asks as he step outside and close the door behind him.
I bit my lip as I try to remember my whole speech of why I'm here, but all I could remember is nothing. I took a deep breath.
"We need to talk" I stated as I cross my arms and kept my composure.
He narrows his eyes at me. I watch as his eyes waver from my face toward his hand on the door handle. He turns the door handle and turn to return back.
"Come in" he whispers.
I shook my head. "Not here"
He turns back around as he leans on the door sides. "Why? Think my mom will sabotage our conversations.
I roll my eyes. This is my last chance to help him remember. "No I just want to show you something"
He frowns. "Fine" He turns around and enter to grab whatever he needs. He returns after 3 minutes. "Let's go" he stated as he closes the door and place his keys in his pocket.
***********30 Minutes later****************
"Where are you taking me?" he huffs
I sent up a prayer to god hoping that will work. I walk over branches and try to remember the trail. I continue on leading him toward the spot. I duck under a branch. His hands still felt warm. I still feel the rough skin of his hands as it held my cheek. As his fiery tongue invade my mouth and ignite my body with buzz. I snap out my memory as his mouth open to ask me again.
"We're almost there" I stop in my tracks and try to find the brown tree. I look left and right as I try to find the hole in the tree. I smile as I saw it. I turn right and walk faster. "Come on" I urge him. My smile widen as I nearly trip over the root of the brown tree. I pull him harder as I saw the red tree. I let go of him and ran over toward the tree. I look around the tree for our markings. The field was now dry with brown patches, but I know it would fill once spring arrives. I grin as I saw our markings.
Come over here" I urge him. He frown and walk over.
"What am I looking at?" he ask me.
I grab his face and turn him toward the stars that has Eric and my name carve into it. He look closer and sigh.
"What is this?" he asks me.
"You don't remember Willie?" I grin as I tease him.
He roll his eyes. "I hate My middle name"
I smile. "too bad because i like it"
I walk closer to him.
"you don't remember?" I ask him.
His eyes soften as he looks around.
"this place looks dead"
I look over toward the brown patches. "it is"
"Becca What if this is hopeless?"
I turn toward him. "it's n-
"you don't know that! what if I can't remember at all"
