Remember December

Chapter: 14

I sigh as I study over the American government packet. The test is on February 10. I scan through the packet and try to memorize everything. I grab the water bottle and drink some as I read through the third page.

There are 20 pages that I have to try to remember. I jump as someone knock on my door.

I flip toward the third page. "Come in"

"Hey" Mitch said.

I turn my head as I place the packet on my bed. "Hey mitch, haven't seen you in a while"

He sigh. "Sorry about that the office been buzzing and the wedding preparations has been everywhere"

I chuckle as I remember mom chatting on the phone to the chefs about the entrees.

"So how long have you been studying for?" he ask me.

"Since I came home" I turn back to the packet.

"Let's go for some ice-cream" he said.

I shook my head. "Can't I'm grounded"

"What she doesn't know won't hurt her, anyway you go shower, I'll be waiting downstairs" he close the door.

I place my packet on my desk and then went to shower. I pair my black the little Mermaid vest top with black extreme ripped skinny jeans, with red and white vans. I comb my hair down. I place my red and black Emoji bucket hat on. I grab my wallet and headed down the stairs.

"Ready" I said.

I smile as I chew on small pieces of red velvet cake. I look around Danny's treats to see it wasn't packed like usual.

"So how you been doing?" he ask me.

"Good" I said.

He nod and ate more of his ice cream.

"I went on a date" I ate more ice cream.

"That's good did you have fun?" he ask me.

"Yeah"

He place his spoon down. "You don't look like it"

"It's that obvious?" I ask him.

"Your ice cream melting, you usually would have finish it already" he pointed out.

I nod and got another spoonful before it could melt more.

"The date was fun it was where he took me.......he took me to the place where Eric and I's spot"

"Did you tell him?" he ask me.

I shook my head. "He works so hard and I didn't want to crush his hope he look so happy"

"I get that you don't want to hurt his feelings, but that boy sounds like he really cared about you, he would have took you somewhere else to be happy, it's not about where you go it's mainly about who you take with you" he said.

"Isn't that an adventure romance quote some-?

"Stop trying to change the subject, now are you going to tell him?" he ask me

"Ash said I should"

"When did you guys meet?" he ask me.

I thought about it. "We met 4 or 5 days"

Mitch eyes widen.

"that was when Ash had a crazy plan which result in me getting hurt, but I guess we really start to talk after about a week" I said.

Mitch shook his head. "Still too fast"

I sigh. "I know I screwed up"

"You didn't you dealt with this differently" he said.
