However, Qi stubbornly refused to take it back. The two kept insisting, back and forth, until Lin Baisheng arrived with guards.

"My other cards aren't linked to my device, so I only have this much..." Luo Qi looked nervously at her.

Ling Yun watched with amusement. "You're always so dramatic. Remember, you have to report to the academy in two days, so don't forget to get your school supplies ready. I'll pick you up."

"..." Ling Yun chuckled, watching as Yu Chu, now annoyed, brushed off her clothes and stormed off to find Wang Xin's little vehicle. Ling Yun could only shake his head.

After wandering around a bit outside, buying some food and daily essentials, Yu Chu hitched a ride back to her temporary residence.

For the next two days, she alternated between eating and sleeping. On the third day, she was still dreaming under her blanket when a knock on the door woke her up.

Irritated, she pulled the blanket over her head. The person outside knocked for a while, then teased:

"Did little Yu fall asleep again? That's a big problem! It shows you're still young and need plenty of sleep, so maybe preparatory school would be a better fit..."
