Chapter 39

"Give it up, and sit still Alexander!" Amado screamed after he got fed up.

Alexander, who sat on the back seat of a moving car, kept banging the door, desperate to launch himself out of the car.

"You are going to meet him whether you like it or not!" Amado bellowed "So quit it!"

"Sorry if I'm acting a little bit annoying." Alexander apologised, with sarcasm "But it's not everyday a weird Lyrax shows up at my house, kidnaps me, and drives me towards an unknown destination."

"Unknown destination?! I told you! We are going to Vortex's fortress! And I only kidnapped you because you refused to come along!" Amado explained, with a frustrated sigh.

"Right. And who's this Vortex guy anyway?"

"He's the Lyrax King!"

"Lyrax Ki. . . Oh my gosh!" Alexander screamed, punching the glass window with his fist "I'm going to be sacrificed to the Lyrax King!"

"Relax, idiot!" Amado yelled at him "Master Vortex is really kind and shows no pride. He's the only person on this planet who understands your life situation."

"Life situation?" Alexander raised his eye brow "What does that even mean?"

"You wouldn't understand now. But should Master Vortex fail and die, you are to take his place and carry out his will." Amado told him "Do you understand?"

"That's a hard no." Alexander sighed "But . . . why me, anyway?"

"Because you are the only being who will understand Master Vortex's will because of the experiences you've had in life. Also, you're the only being powerful enough to carry his plans out or whatever." Amado rolled his eyes "Or so Master Vortex says."

"He does?"

"Yeah. After all, he did transfer to you, the powers of Chikara Seishin, even though you already had one."

"Chikara Seishin?" Alexander repeated with his eyes wide opened.

"Alec! Alec! Alec!" Reborn called again and again.

Master Revolution gasped as if he'd been startled. He turned and gazed at Reborn, who stood right behind him with an anxious look on his face.

"You with me?" Reborn asked him.

"I . . . just had a flashback." Revolution answered.

"You always do." Reborn sighed, shaking his head.

"What . . . were you saying again?" Revolution asked him.

"Trevor posseses Chikara Seishin."

Alexander suddenly halted and stared at Reborn for a while.

"What?" He muttered.

"Yeah. It doesn't make sense to me either." Reborn sighed "How can he possess 10 or more talents?"

"Why don't you go check it out?" Revolution suggested "Go analyse the situation. Track him down. You can use the link-up method if you would please."

"I've barely learnt it. But I guess that works too. Why me anyway?" Reborn whined, folding his arms across his chest.

"If this information is true, then you are involved, Reborn." Revolution told him "Go and force Chikara Seishin to manifest through him. Then, battle him just to make sure."

"I guess you are right." Reborn admitted "Though, he doesn't know any of it yet. At least that's what it seems."

"He doesn't?" Revolution opened his eyes wide out of shock "Intriguing, I must say. That's good. Where's Sunset anyway?"
