amy's pov

when i heard that the blood on knuckles's shoe wasn't his own, i let out a sigh and looked back down. staring at shadow's face i notice a look of pure terror plastered onto his face. "shadow?" he gets up and runs to angel island "shadow!" we watch as he lands onto angel island, how did he get there so fast? is what i thought before a wave of blood came pouring down from angel island, the water below it turned completely red and the smell worsened. "what the hell?!" sonic points to the water and we all notice the hundreds of dead bodies, the missing people weren't missing at all. they were on angel island, dead. "we gotta get shadow! the killer could be up there!" i yell and start bolting to angel island "amy!" i stop in my tracks and look back "blaze?!" i felt, happiness, relief and most of all, love. but it wasn't her, i focus my eyes and she disappeared. a hallucination? i shake my head and start running again "amy don't go up there!" i hear her voice again, tears streaming down my face as i remember that she was stuck in her universe. i missed her so much. why is she showing up now? i ignore the hallucinations and keep on running "amy, my dear... turn back. it's not safe." 'my dear' i start running faster but then i felt someone pick me up, ir was sonic. he got us there in a matter of seconds, as he places me down we notice some shuffling behind some trees. "sonic! there's someone over there, it might be shadow or knuckles!" he nods and we run over. as we get closer i get a quick glance at a patch of pale purple fur. i recognized it. it was blaze's purple fur. "no..no." i mutter to myself, i look over at sonic and i could tell that he saw the same thing i did. "amy it might not be-" i run towards the body and turn it over, it was blaze. i pull her towards my body and place her head on my chest "blaze... oh chaos..." i start crying and hold her in my arms "i'm here it's okay, i'm here." i hear some noise behind me but i ignore it "please wake up. please." i place my hand on her open abdomen wound, as the blood gushes out i press harder until the bleeding stops. i keep begging her to hold on as i hold her lifeless body close. "who would do this?" i choke back my tears, wiping them and smearing her blood on my cheek. i hear loud thuds behind me and i turn back "s-sonic?" he was gone. no signs of struggle, he just. disappeared.

hours later

still mourning blaze, i sit by her cold, pale body as tails drapes a white cloth on her, covering her entire body. i could tell he was holding back vomit when he was examining her, but he was more pissed at me for leaving sonic behind. he lost both his brother figures and one of them was my fault. they were both missing now and tails was even more determined to find them. "amy, you need to leave the room." "why?" i grip blaze's cold hand tighter "after i finish with this sheet i'm sewing her wounds up, and for that i would need to remove her clothes. i don't think you want to see all her injuries." that's right, he examined her but never got the chance to fix her up, she had more injuries under her clothes. huge cuts and gashes that needed to be sewn up "r-right..." i let go of her hand and notice the rose quartz bracelet i had given her when i first asked her out on a date. i quickly snag it and walk out "amy." i turn back "i'm sorry.. for your loss." i nod and walk out, i hear tails slapping on his gloves and removing the cloth he had placed onto her. once i was out of the room i dropped to my knees and started sobbing, i hold her bracelet close and place one of my hand on the cheek with her blood on it. "amy? amy rose?" i hear a hoarse voice call out my name and i look up, it was jet, jet the hawk. he's friends with sonic but i never really payed attention to him. "jet? wh-why are you here?" he walks up to me and kneels down "i heard about what happened.. about sonic and knuckles.. about, blaze..." i wipe my tears and the dried blood on my cheek smears a bit "i just wanted to see if you guys were okay... wave and i are trying to help out any way we can. wave is speaking with rouge now...i came over here to talk to tails but you work too. is there anything i could do? to, help?" i look up and stare into his eyes, his bright blue eyes just made me want to cry more. his gaze was soft. despite this he's always had a sassy attitude, he was cocky. he masked his niceness. i did the best i could do to hold back more tears "help me. help me find sonic, help me find knuckles." i gritted my teeth in anger and he could see that i was angry. he let out a smirk "yes ma'am." and that was it. two new members added to our group. it was me, tails, shadow, rouge, robotnik, and now jet and wave. i gasp as i realize i forgot someone, someone important, sally. she was out of the country for a bit to focus on studies since she never got to do that as a kid, it's been a while since we last saw her, she had ended things with sonic since she knew she would be so far from him for a long time and she didn't want to hurt him. i picked up my phone and called her "who you callin?" jet stands up and helps me up as well. "someone who could help us." i phone rings, i stand there anxiously and then i heard a click. "hello?"
