Chapter 4| Attraction in Discretion.

Orea placed the order down before the orange-red haired guy, a scowl ever so present on her face, as he fixed his gaze on her, a stack of papers on the table, " do you need anything else?" She questioned, glancing at his eyes. Those shady orbs of his never left hers, Orea debated on having a competition with him yet she decided against it, a roll of her eyes was all she managed.

How could a man be so attractive? " Wait!" He called, his voice not thick like those men with baritone voice yet, his was enough to have her squirming, Orea played with the ring on her finger, her eyes said it all, " I am Ceaser," he introduced, " I know you didn't ask but I'd prefer to do the honor than have you call me creep," Ceaser added, with a sigh.

Orea didn't scowl, instead she nodded her head, taken aback, then she headed back to counter, she was making cookies today, " Ceaser," she tried his name in her mouth, a smile unknowingly creping to her face.

" What are you smiling at?" Carol asked, a smile on her face herself, when Orea said nothing, Carol wiggled her brow, " so...? Did he ask you out on a date or what?" Orea scowled at this. "What? It's just a question, besides, I haven't seen you go on a real date since I have known you,"

" Well, I don't need a man in my life," Orea shrugged, " they never end up well," she added. What she didn't and couldn't add was that, the men in her life were never normal men, or they were, psychopaths are normal aren't they?

"Well, I really do wish you stop thinking that way, besides, look at him, he is sooooo hotttttt, why can't you have him in your life? Atleast if I can't have him, you have to." Carol picked up a cup and filled it up with hot water, though she had her gaze on a group of girl who giggled at the sight of Ceaser," those stupid bitcheries have been ogling him,"

"You can have him for yourself then," Orea muttered, this earned her a snicker from the brunette.

"As if," he won't even look my way," she placed the filled cup on a tray, Orea had turned to her sweet delights when she heard a gasp from her Partner, " he is coming this way," Carol squealed, making Orea glance back, true to her words, Ceaser made his way to them.

"Girls," he smiled, " I want an home delivery," he added, his smile as charming as it could get, Ceaser locked eyes with Orea, " two boxes of cookies, and an extra large milkshake," he informed, not taking his eyes from Orea, " oh, and, I'd like to ask, has there been a new addition to town except me?"

"Oh, no, I don't think so, we do have lots of people around this time of the year, they come for the fiesta, there always lots of tourists too," Carol replied, a smirk present on her face while she looked between the two, who couldn't take their eyes off each other.

" Good, thanks ..."

"Carol, Carol Simpson," Carol replied, only then did he glance at her, " your order will be delivered right to your doorstep, " said Carol, " or your room," she added in a low voice which Orea heard, to which she earned herself a stomp on the feet, Carol only laughed.

" We will need your address for that," Orea stated, finally breaking eye contact with him, Ceaser nodded and scribbled down his address on the paper handed to him, once he was done, he handed the paper and pen to Orea who checked, the contents on the paper made Orea frown, though she masked it with an amused look, " you live in the piseog domain?"

" Pardon?"

" The piseog domain, the house isolated from the others on sky street?" Orea said, her gaze filled with worry, she had heard lots about the house and the things that happened there, and shadows never seemed to leave the place, though they were mostly faded and had lost their glow yet she did know the place wasn't good news.

Ceaser frowned, " I didn't hear about that when I bought it,"

Carol scoffed, " a maniac couple lived there 16 years ago, they had killed their own children one by one then report them missing, they went crazy one day and killed the two left then they murdered each other," then she laughed, now adding some ingredients to the dough Orea had made." admirable bunch aren't they?, And the most remarkable about it is that, history always repeats itself for those who live in the house, they are either killed by maniacs or they are found dead, with a sucide note,"

Orea frowned, hating to be reminded of things like that, though that wasn't just it, the way Ceaser's jaw tightened as her friend spoke made her wonder what he knew about it, she had first expected he retort yet he didn't, instead he smiled, " well, I guess I have to go now, see you again then," Ceaser said, then he was gone.

"You shouldn't have spoken like that," Orea said, her gaze on Ceaser as he left.

Now it was Carol turn to shrug, " I was just speaking the truth," this earned a sigh from Orea.

The day Went by pretty quick and the shop was soon closed down, Orea made her way to the piseog domain, her hand struggling to hold on the boxes and cup in her hand, " why would he ask for this much," she muttered, it took her only a while to arrived at the street and more to arrived in her destination.

Though, the dark clouds had turned a deeper shade, with rain clouds adorning the sky, the air smelled lovely, just like Orea liked it, she really couldn't wipe the smile off her face as she walked. " I can't wait to be home," she muttered, not pleasant with the rain catching her on the road home.

It was isolated from the others, about three minute walk from the other houses, she sucked in a breath at the sight of the house, it wasn't like the last time she had saw it, it didn't look like the piseog domain anymore, the once thick worn out walls were covered in a lovely beige paint, the over grown bushes were cut, the gate replaced.

The porch had chairs set on it, it just wasn't the same view she was used to, with a breathe released, she made her way over and rang the doorbell, one... Two... Three...rings of the doorbell, yet she received no reply, Orea checked the paper with scribbled words in her hand, in case she had been wrong, yet she was assured she was in the right place.

Sighing, she pressed on the doorbell again and again, still she received no reply, annoyed, she turned, ready to leave, she was off the porch when the door opened, Orea turned back, ready to lash out at him for keeping her waiting, only to widen her eyes.

Ceaser was in nothing but a short, his toned abbs were wide on reveal, his hair were scattered around, while water dripped down his chest to his torso, Orea gulped.... Hard. " Oh, hey," his voice brought her back to life just like the sky poured down all it's held in, no warning... Except if the rain clouds could be counted.

"Shit," Orea cursed, running straight over to his porch, " why didn't you open the door earlier?!" Orea exclaimed, eyeing the heavy raindrops, Ceaser sighed.

" I was in the shower, " he replied.

" Well, you could have just waited for me before going to the shower, now I have to wait till the rain stops,"

" My apologies, I didn't expect the rain,"

Orea rolled her eyes, fucking bastard, " whatever, here is your order," she shoved the orders on his chest, not looking at him as he grabbed into the package, his muscles flexing a little.

Ceaser took the package and headed inside, leaving Orea to gape, " bastard," she muttered, huffing, she clutched on her hand bag, her finger playing with her ring, as she debated on weather to stay or leave, just when she decided to stay, the door opened once again, revealing Ceaser.

" You can stay in till the rain is over," he stated, opening the door wider, Orea gave him a scowl yet took his offer, though, deep down she prayed he wasn't a serial killer, she wasn't really ready to have a messed up man end her. " Make yourself at home," he stated.

"Sure,"
