BELEAGURED 1 : Little Did They Know

(Part of Chapter 15)

The sound of the waves woke Blate up. She was laying on her chest, stranded on a stranger island. She tried to open her blurry eyes while blocking the sun out of her face. Then, she realized that she wasn't came here alone.
"STAR, SNOW??!!" she exclaimed, hoping they were near.
She slowly get on her feet, looking around her. Somehow, she felt familiar with the place.
"WAIT, BLORD???!!! WHERE ARE YOU??" Blate realized something.

She fixed her jacket position and walked around the beach. Blord was nowhere to be found, so she walked further inside the island. However, the beach was long behind her, and now there were only green grass under her feet. Her eyes almost teared up, she couldn't find Nlord anywhere, until something came up to her from the bushes.
"BLORD!" Blate fell on her knees, and embrace Blord into her hug.
"Oh man, I thought you were dead. Are you okay? Anything hurt?"

Blate checked every single angle on Blord's body. She felt relieved, that Blord was okay.
"Urgh, I'm sorry that I dragged you into this mess. I'm glad you're okay. Don't worry, we'll facing this together here." Blate smiled

She got up on her feet again. She slowly walked onto the bush where Blord showed up and saw a trail leads into a forest. She hoped to find someone to help them. The more she went inside, the more familiar the place looks. Blord looked very excited everytime she took a step further in. Unlike Blord, Blate seemed cautious of her surroundings. Something bad might jumped out at them and killed them horribly.

Since she recognized one of her power, she became more vigilant because she didn't know about what this power could do. It helped them back then, yes, but could it hurt them? She didn't know.

"Huh? This place looks like a ghost town." Blate commented.
They already got out of the forest. Blate didn't want to shout any hello, she was still felt something was off with this town. The design on the houses looking like medieval times. The houses were barricaded, and seemed like the people were isolated? or maybe there weren't any from the start?

The grass sounded as if someone was running above it. She was startled, getting goosebumps, and her heart beat faster, she wanted to walked away, but her brain told her to stay. She just looked back and asked "Hello?"
Blord touched her hand and as if it knew, gave her a sign to get inside the forest again.
The sun set faster than when it was supposed to be. What time was it again?
They've lost track of time. Maybe the time worked differently here, she thought.
"Blord, I think I have been in this place. Yea.. this is Odremesh and Ovelate Island. But, I thought this place was supposed to be the source of knowledge, why did it abandoned?" she whispered at Blord.

Once again, she observed the area she was in. The forest was getting dark. This would be a problem, because she couldn't see in the dark very well. Without her glassess, she could only rely on her ears, her nose and her guts. Blord led her further inside the forest.

"Huhh, why is this place felt weirder and weirder?" she whispered.
She looked around her surroundings. Both of her hands held her shoulder. The sun had gone from the sky, the moon's light replaced it. The darkness filled the forest. Suddenly, she caught a glimpse of light far inside the forest.
"Are you sure this is the right place, Blord? You know, we can go back to the town if you want. It's still not to far from here. Hold on, what's that strange light over there." Blate said it to Blord while pointing her finger on the light.

Blord chose to follow the fading light. Blate hoped someone was there to help them. All of the night animals did their things, caused some sounds, added the eeriness inside the forest. Blate's source of light was the light from afar, she didn't like the dark. Her heart pounded increasingly everytime she took a step towards the light, her hands and legs tremble, but she kept all that in, because she believed in Blord.
