Agastya paced his bedroom, his mind racing with thoughts about Riya. What type of girl was she? Would she be a gold digger looking for his money, or a famous personality his grandfather admired? He couldn't shake the feeling that this marriage was merely for show-a way to appease the media and demonstrate that he was settled down.
He needed to make things clear to her; this would be a marriage of convenience. Once it was over, he would prove to his grandfather how wrong he was to choose her, digging up any dirt he could find to show just how unworthy she was. He refused to stress himself over some random girl.
With a long day ahead of him filled with stakeholder and investor meetings, he had to prepare. After a quick shower, he changed into his night suit, hoping for some rest. But sleep eluded him as he wrestled with his thoughts, finally surrendering to a deep slumber.
