Black just reluctantly left the house to saddle his horse. His younger brother watched him from the doorway, a worried expression adorning his face. Black knew how he felt about staying in the cottage alone but couldn't risk his beloved brother's life. Not until he was sure it would be safe for White to meet others. He pulled himself up into the saddle and glanced at his twin briefly.

"Stay here. Don't open the door for anyone but me, " he reminded. White nodded lightly, and his eyes settled on him.

"Be careful and return to me in one piece, Phi," White pleaded. Black's heart squeezed painfully at his brother's concern.

"I will," he replied, though he wasn't sure if he could keep that promise. If anything were to happen to him today, at least White would be safe. Turning the horse around, he took off from the house and into the woods.

Riding through the thick bush wasn't easy, and arriving at the agreed place took him longer than he expected. Sliding off the animal's back, he quietly tied it to a nearby tree trunk and crouched behind the fallen tree. He was staring at two figures on the opposite side of the small glade. Black frowned as he recognized General Gumpa but not the other male. There was supposed to be just the older man, but Black couldn't blame him for taking company with him.

"He's late. Are you sure he belongs to the Pothiyakorn lineage? What if he's just a scammer?" The tall male, around his age, complained.

"He is, I am sure of it. Stop being suspicious, Sean. Let's wait a bit longer, he will show up." Gumpa patted Sean's shoulder in a calming manner.

"Whatever you say." The tall man rolled his eyes. For some reason, Sean's presence annoyed Black immensely. The feeling that the tall guy would only bring him a headache settled deep within.
