SATOMI TUGGED ON Tsukasa's arms, pulling him through the bustling shopping district. "Come on, Tsu-chan! We're almost there!" she exclaimed, her eyes sparkling in excitement.
Tsukasa sighed, trying to keep up with her pace. "I told you not to call me that," he muttered, though a small smile tugged on at the corner of his lips.
They finally reached a trendy clothing store, and Satomi immediately began browsing through the racks. She picked out a few outfits and disappeared into the changing room. "Tsu-chan, what do you think of this one?" she called out, stepping out in a stylish dress.
Tsukasa glanced up from his phone, giving her an approving nod. "It looks good on you," he said, trying to hide his embarrassment.
Satomi twirled in front of the mirror, her face lighting up with satisfaction. "Great! I'll try the next one," she said, disappearing back into the changing room. This routine continued for a while, with Satomi trying on various outfits and Tsukasa offering his reluctant but honest opinions.
After what felt like hours of trying on clothes, they decided to take a break and headed to a nearby cafe. They found a cozy corner and settled in, enjoying their drinks and the warm atmosphere.
Their conversation was light and filled with laughter. Satomi recounted funny stories from school, and Tsukasa could only smile at the excited girl. It was a rare moment of peace and normalcy in their otherwise hectic lives.
Just as Tsukasa was about to tease Satomi about her shopping addiction, her phone buzzed. She glanced at the screen and her expression changed. "It's Shibaman," she said, answering the call. "Hey, Shiba-chan! What's up?"
Shibaman said on the other end. "Satomi, Todoroki challenged Murayama again. They're going to fight."
Satomi's eyes widened. "When?"
"Today," Tsuji said. "You've got to come. It's going to be intense."
Satomi looked at Tsukasa, her excitement was through the roof. "I have to go," she said, her voice steady. "This is important."
Tsukasa nodded, finishing his drink. "Let's go, then. I need to meet with Jamuo."
Satomi's excitement was palpable as they walked towards the school. "I can't believe Todoroki challenged Murayama again! This is going to be epic!" she exclaimed, practically bouncing with each step.
Tsukasa chuckled, trying to keep up with her enthusiasm. "Yeah, it should be interesting. I'm actually heading to school to meet Jamuo. We've got something to discuss."
Satomi raised an eyebrow, intrigued. "Oh? What's so important that you need to meet Jamuo?"
Tsukasa replied, "Facing off the Yasukiyo faction."
Satomi laughed, "You're serious about fighting for once? I thought you wanted to stay away from it after Fujio moved away."
Tsukasa shrugged, "Things change."
Once they got to the school, they parted ways. Tsukasa went to find Jamuo, and Satomi rushed to the gym to watch the fight between Todoroki and Murayama.
Seki noticed Satomi and called her over. "Hey, Satomi! Come watch with me and Furuya."
Satomi joined them, her eyes glued to the center where Murayama and Todoroki stood, surrounded by the part-timers who rallied around their leader and Todoroki. The tension was palpable as everyone waited for the fight to begin.
Todoroki and Murayama began to fight, throwing punches. Murayama raised his knee to hit Todoroki in the face, but Todoroki blocked it. Todoroki managed to knee him and kicked Murayama back a little. Murayama got annoyed and rushed at the younger man, throwing punches and successfully landing a hit on Todoroki's face, which sent him stumbling into some part-timers who watched the fight excitedly. "You've gotten tougher, Todoroki," Murayama said. Todoroki ran through some part-timers and attempted to trip Murayama, but the older man lifted his leg before Todoroki could knock him off his feet.
The crowd around them buzzed with excitement as the two fighters continued their intense battle.
Murayama was pushed into a group of guys who straightened him up. "Need a hand?" Furuya asked in amusement.
The leader could only grin and pat Furuya's chest. "I'm just fine."
They walked back towards each other, with Murayama punching himself in the face a couple of times to psych himself up. Then they started to fight again, the circle around them moving in closer. The circle grew smaller as the fight continued, with Todoroki starting to run through the crowd and Murayama running after him. Todoroki pushed some clutter to distract and hinder Murayama, but they grabbed onto each other, instantly throwing punches. The older man jumped up a bit into the air and punched Todoroki in the face, sending both of them to the ground. They both got back up again, but Murayama slammed his knee into Todoroki's face and threw him to the ground.
Murayama stood tall while Todoroki struggled on the ground. The older Murayama stomped Todoroki on the face.
Todoroki had his hand pressed against his eye, blood slipping through the spaces between his fingers. "You're going to need a real doctor after this."
"Tomi-chan," One of the part-timers called out, throwing the kit, and she caught it with one hand.
She hummed softly, kneeling next to Todoroki. She gently pulled his hand away from his face and got to work, trying to clean and disinfect his wounded eye as best as she could.
"No offense, but I'm not surprised that you lost." Satomi laughed at him.
Todoroki glared at her with his uninjured eye.
Satomi glared back at him. "Stop looking at me like that when I helped you with your injury. Shiba-chan, Tsuji-chan, you may take your leader now!" Her glare turned into a sweet smile at the taller boys.
"Tomi-chan, are you going to fix my injuries?" Murayama wrapped her arm around the shorter girl.
Satomi looked at him with a smile. "No, do it yourself."

This first chapter is basically, not even basically, straight from High & Low The Worst movie (it's on Netflix!!). I'm being honest, this could've been a High & Low fanfic, but I really wanted to write a Cobra Kai fanfic! This should just be a Cobra Kai x High & Low crossover 😭
