Chapter 12

~PREVIOUSLY~
" Trust me, a door can't hurt me." I said blankly, pulling the door open revealing  sakura grunting and suo smiling beside nerei.

"Good morning okami." Suo said with a sweet smile his head tilting a bit. I scanned the three boys then my eyes shifted to nerei who was holding a poridge and iced tea.

We stared for almost an hour, when he finally said something. Shifting my eyes at the tray of food he was holding.

"Uhm. Kotoha asked us to bring you this." Nerei said lifting the tray of food slightly.
"She is worried that you haven't eaten enough That's why you fainted."

I rolled my eyes. They are making my faint a big deal. But, i am thankful that they didn't leave me alone. To fall?

I furrowed my eyebrows. Who caught me?

"H-how are you feeling?" Nerei continues striking a normal conversation. Slowly going inside the room.

"I am fine, just a little light headed." I replied. Still confused about who caught me.

I am pretty sure Sakura is sitting at the counter talking to kotoha. Nerei and suo were --. Someone with a familiar scent appeared behind them.

Umemiya. Gosh he looks so.

"Hi okami!!! How are you feeling?"

Annoying. "If you let me punch you i would definitely feel better." I bluntly said, pushing past them.

"Aw i would love to but Kotoha might get mad at me." Umemiya following behind.

"You should have hit him." Kotoha poured me a cup of tea. I tried to refuse but she wont let me and insisted that I take it.

"I will pay you to hit him right now." She opened the register.

"No need, i will do it for free." I pushed myself out of the counter and made my way to umemiya.

He noticed me going in his direction and smiled brightly while waving at me. " Have you decided to sit with us? If so there is a free seat here." He gestured to his side.

Suo on the other hand knew what was about to happen " i think she is going to punch you senpai." He said nervously.

Umemiya reacted "WHAT? There's no way she would punch me, she wouldn't even hurt a fly." After hearing him said that i bit my cheeks.

Is he underestimating me? Am i weak to him?

I on the other hand cracked my knuckles.

"You know umemiya." He turned back to me.

"You are very annoying, you act so cheerful in front of everyone putting up a mask to hide your real feelings." Saying those words somehow silenced the entire cafe.

"I-I don't know what you meant by that?" Umemiya sheepish said. But i know to myself that saying those words is really hurtful.

"You know what i meant." His smile was all gone. He then pursed his lips shut and for a moment i felt the atmosphere change drastically for a second.

But that didn't scare me. I am used to provoking people to fight me. He stood up, i prepared myself.

He moved closer to me and stopped a few meters.

Is he gonna fight? I thought to myself.

He then raised his hand, and i swiftly threw a left hook but he used his left hand to stop it. And place his right hand on top of my head.

What?

"I guess i can pretty annoying sometimes hehe." He then patted my head gently.

What? My fist was shaking in his grip. Am I holding back?

" But it is normal for me to be annoying hahahaha right sakura!" He chuckled facing sakura who started blushing for no reason at all.

" Y-you really are annoying." Sakura screams keeping himself from stuttering a word.

"But as long as the people around me are safe and happy, i think i can handle it." He then gave me a wink.

I tried to pull back, but umemiya's grip tightened, I tried to relax my fist but for some reason he held my hand as i held his back.

Umemiya then suddenly drops a bomb.

"Thinking about it, i think we can make a pretty cute couple." Sticking his tongue to his side lips, his hands still holding mine.

"HUH?!" Everyone exclaimed.

Sakura turned into a glowing tomato stuttering words like "c-couple?!"

Nerei covered his face stuttering words i don't understand.

Sou was lost in words.

Hiragii started shouting at umemiya pulling him back by the collar.

Kotoha jumped over the counter and started scolding umemiya.

I don't know what to say. I was so lost to what he said. Then suddenly a painful memory came to me.

"Thinking about it, i think we can make a pretty cute couple." A memory of a man sitting on a swing beside me said the same thing.

I can't see his face but i know that he means something to me.

My hands tightened. I could feel my nails digging in my skin. And all of a sudden I heard something snap.

It was my patience.

I need to release this anger. I really need to .

Or else, the same thing might happen.

I stormed out of the cafe not ever looking back. After that day i never came back to the cafe.

Even when my aunt and uncle told me to bring eggs I found excuses to avoid the people there.

"Hey, ami? Can you buy me spring onions?"
My aunt said from downstairs.

"Your uncle is currently busy at work, i want to bring him lunch and dinner in case he will be staying late."

Putting on my hoodie, I made my way downstairs into the kitchen.

I sighed. "Do you really need spring onions?" My aunt chuckled slightly. "Your uncle will cry later if we don't make his rice special."

My aunt turned to me. Giving me the money to buy the spring onions. " You're going out like that?" My aunt said anxiously.

I looked down, i was wearing a black hoodie and denim shorts. "I look pretty normal with my outfit." I answered.

"Just be careful on the road." My aunt sighed.

"I will."

Author: hey guys i am back from college, so busy with maintaining my grades and keeping up with activities. But hey! At least i am about to finish my first year in college. Just one more month and I can update this story.

Also there have been a problem but i can fix it.
