Chapter 13

Okami PoV:

"Okami i am so glad you are well. I was worried that you might not visit my store." The old lady anxiously said.

"I am sorry for making you worried. My body was just adjusting to the new environment." I said placing a hand on her shoulder.

"Well i hope you get used to it, i want to set up a date for my son. He barely meets anyone. I almost think he is gay with all the boys he is bringing." She gleefully said.

I laughed awkwardly " i am sure they are his best friend, plus my aunt and uncle won't allow me to date."

"What nonsense, i can convince them to let you date." She shakes her head.

"No need. I am still pretty young for that stuff." Excusing myself out of the shop before the old lady talks about marriage.

Suddenly i saw the cafe from a distance and decided to take a different route. It's been a week since I have seen them.

"Thinking about it, i think we can make a pretty cute couple." That day replays in my head, I shook my head.

The same words echoed in my head and it is starting to annoy me. Gosh, of all people I didn't expect it from him.

If only. I can -. No it is too stupid to think that way. I sighed again.

Making another turn. I had the feeling i was lost again.

Yup, i am lost. I mentally scolded myself.

While taking out my phone, I saw a shadow, swiftly passed by and I accidentally dropped my phone and fell to the ground as I felt a weight tackle me from behind.

I grunted "Ugh, what the hell?!." I looked up and saw a Cat, i was puzzled.

I saw it pick up my phone with its mouth and sprinted away.

" My phone!" I shouted pushing myself up.

"Riza chan!!" A familiar voice shouted from behind, It was sakura.

The cat suddenly jumped from the first floor up to the roof of a  building. Sakura hot on its tail followed it.

I on the other hand didn't let it go easily and followed it using a different route. I chased the cat towards the bridge.

"Give me back my phone!" I shouted at the cat, and startled sakura.

The Cat without thinking twice thought it was a good idea to jump off the bridge with my phone.

SHIT. I mentally said.

Using my weight, I pushed myself from the bridge towards the cat, closing our gap.

"Come here you." I opened my arms and hugged the cat tightly. So fixated with getting my phone I was not able to prepare myself to land and landed on my heel first and it bent sideways.

I felt the pain send signals to my head, the pain piercing like needles. The pain was unbearable, I rolled instead, on the dry ground.

Sakura jumped from the bridge and ran to my side. He saw my ankle was swollen very quickly.  "That was reckless!" Checking my ankle.

"It is better than letting it soak in water with my phone." I grunted in pain when sakura tried to apply pressure in it.

The cat meowed. "You! You should be thankful you are dry." I am not sure if i am hallucinating, but i saw the cat gave me a side eye before grooming itself.

"Why you ungrateful?!" I winced again, as the pain sent piercing needles in my head as i slightly moved my leg.

"Can you move?" Sakura looked at me like he doesn't know what to do.

"If i can move I would be standing already, do you think i am standing?" I waited for sakura for him to answer.

"No?" He replied.

"That means?"i asked him again.

"You can't move." Sakura answered back.

"Thank you." I sarcastically said.

Pulling sakura towards me by the collar, i wrapped my arms around. His shoulders and push myself up. The pain was unbearable but i had to move and get it treated immediately.

Soon after the cat 'riza-chan' is back to her owner I was greeted by all the students from boufurin, they offered to take me to the clinic.

"Its alright. Sakura is already helping me." I said and secretly jab sakura in his side to which he understands that I want to get out of this situation.

I knew their eyes were following me. Especially suo and the mysterious guy with headphones. Once we are out of sight sakura leaned me on a wall.

"You can leave me here, i can go to the clinic myself." I tried applying pressure to my injured ankle. "Ugh." I almost fell but sakura caught me on time.

"You are so stubborn." He hissed. Before kneeling infront of me his back wide open. I sighed and decided to hop towards his back and let my weight crash to him.

He grunted "you are so light." I didn't know what to say but I was offended "excuse me, i am being fed properly at my home." I argued back but in the next second we both laughed.

As he carried me all the way to the clinic, I can't help but lay my head on his shoulder. "Thank you sakura." I said softly.

"Thank you for what?" He ask.

"For everything." I said and felt the drowsiness wash over me drifting to sleep.

Sakura stopped on his tracks and whispered under hi breath "your welcome."

I woke up again as i felt my self touch a soft mattress. I was at the clinic and my hands ran across the pillow I was holding and felt a warm embrace on my other hand.

Sakura fell asleep on the chair beside me while his other hand was tucked in his side the other was holding mine firmly.

And i drifted again to sleep.

The Doctor saw everything but smiled only and walk back to his office. "What a cute couple." He chuckled.

Author : Hi Guys!! Gosh I was so fixated with my studies and responsibilities i wasn't able to post this chapter in a long time.

I apologize and i have an announcement, i was promoted president in our department. Which means? I am even more busy than before.

But since i love you guys i will work hard to update as much as possible.
