Standing on the Edge of my life:A Chicago PD fanfic

I was back in high school when,we were talking late past ten,staying up till 3am

//Alexa's POV//

"I feel like my life is finally in place" I said to Luka. We were both sitting on the roof under the dark sky. Only light was coming from the moon and the street lights below. "Don't jinx it" Luka said and laughed. "As long as I have my dad, Antonio, Voigt, his team, my friends and you to support me life is perfect" I said.

"When does school start?" Luka asked. "Way to ruin my moment Luis" I said and laughed. "I swear Antonio does that just to get me mad" Luka said and rolled his eyes. "What time is it?" I asked. "Midnight" Luka said as he checked his phone. "Let's go get pizza" I suggested. "Do I have to pay?" Luka asked as he stood up. "Yes" I said and stood up.

"Curse the day I became friends with you" Luka said. "Yeah curse my twenty one pilot shirt that you ruined!" I exclaimed. "I took you to meet them!" Luka exclaimed. "We should go again, their new album is amazing" I stated. "My name is blurryface and I care what you think" Luka said as we walked down the stairs. "Yes!" I exclaimed. "We'll see" Luka said. "More like you'll buy the tickets" I said. "Fine. But you buy the warped tour tickets" Luka said. "I will"  I said and we walked out.

We walked to a nearby pizza parlor and walked inside. "Two median pizzas, one cheese one pepperoni" I ordered at the register. "Coming right up" he said.

We took a seat and waited.

"Have you heard any word from Fernando?" Luka asked. "No, I texted him but he hasn't answered" I explained. "He'll text you" Luka said and gave me a reassuring smile. "Maybe" I said as they brought us our pizza.

"Let's go, I gotta take a roll of pictures tomorrow" I said once we finished eating. "Alright let's go" Luka said and we got up and left. 

"I'll see you tomorrow morning at six" I said as I opened the bedroom door. "Why so early?" Luka asked. "So that I can capture sunrise to sunset" I said. "Fine" Luka groaned and opened his bedroom door. "Goodnight" I said. "Goodnight" Luka said.

I closed my door and changed out of my black Tonight Alive tank top and black skinny jeans into a white tank top with a pair of black shorts.

I removed my makeup and tied my dark blue hair into a messy bun.

"I need to have everything all set up before I sleep" I said to myself and started looking through my closet.

I pulled out a grey Arctic Monkeys T-shirt, a pair of blue skinny jeans, a black leather jacket and a pair of black and white converse.

I laid them on my dresser and grabbed my camera, Nikon Digital camera, and placed it next to my clothes.

I sat on my bed and placed my phone on the night stand and turned off the light.

The next morning I woke up to the sound of my alarm. I had to get the shower before Luka did. I got up and grabbed my clothes and ran out of my room.

After I took a shower I changed into my clothes. I placed my hair in a towel to dry and walked out. "Luka! I'm wearing the arctic monkeys T-shirt so don't you dare wear it as well!" I shouted as I pounded on his door. Too many times Luka and I had come out wearing either the same shirt, flannel or shoes. "Luka!" I shouted and opened the door. 

His room was dark and there were various pieces of clothing on the floor. "Luka wake up!" I whispered and shook him. "Give me a sec" he groaned. "Luka!" I exclaimed," we gotta go!" I said. "No" Luka groaned. "Fine" I said and walked over towards the window and pulled the curtains opened. "Alexa no!" Luka hissed. "You have twenty minutes to get ready" I said and walked out of his room.

Antonio was visiting his kids. His divorce had been delayed but that didn't mean they were getting back together.

Antonio's wife was something, first time she met me she thought I was Antonio's lover. Luckily that was cleared up but not before she insulted me.

I placed some bread in the toaster and took out the strawberry jam while the bread toasted. 

I poured some orange juice for Luka and green tea with Honey for me.

"Thanks for the wake up" Luka said sarcastically. He was wearing a black King The Kid T-shirt with a pair of skinny jean khakis, a pair of grey vans and a grey Cardigan with the sleeves rolled up. His dark brown curly hair was messy but it suited him. "You're welcome" I said and smiled," now hurry up and eat, we gotta go" I said as I spread the jam on my toast. "Have you talked to Sabrina?" Luka asked after he took a bite of his toast. "She's in France with her mum" I said," she went to an art exhibit" I stated. "Both of you came out so artistically gifted, and then there's me" Luka said. "You play bass" I said. "Yeah but I don't have a band" Luka scoffed. "I'll help you with that" I said and picked up my phone.

"Aron was looking for a few people to play in his band" I said as I sent Aron a text.

Me:
Hey, still looking for a bassist?

Aron:
Yes, do you have someone in mind?

Me:
Lukas!

Aron:
Send me a video of him playing, ill show it to Eliott, Kolten and Xander

Me:
Perfect

"I need a video of you playing guitar" I said. "Send him the one from the talent show" Luka said. "No" I said," that has me singing in it" I said. "You sing for like thirty seconds, send it" Luka said. "Fine" I said and sent Aron the link.

"Now our lives are starting to add up" Luka said as I locked the door. "Told you" I said and smirked. "Let's go make our dreams come true" Luka said and we walked out of the apartment.
