::A week later:: 

"Ugh school why!" I groaned and collapsed on my bed. "At least its our senior year" Luka said.

"C'mon you guys Voigt is waiting" Antonio said as he walked in. We got up and walked out to the car.

After a ten minute drive we arrived at Voigt's house.

"When are you gonna stop by the station?" Voigt asked after he hugged me. "I'll stop by everyday after school" I said. "When do you guys go back?" Erin asked. " tomorrow"  Luka said. "At least its your senior year" Jay pointed out. "Truuue" I said," but still ew" I said. "She's not very welcomed to the idea" Luka said. "You're almost done" Kevin said. "Let's eat I'm hungry" Adam said. "When aren't you" Olinsky chuckled.

After we ate Voigt started a bonfire and we all sat around.

"All right well We should get going, Alexa and Luis have to get up early" Antonio said as we stood up. "I'll see you guys after school" I said and hugged everyone goodbye.

"Ugh why" I groaned as my alarm rang. I got up and grabbed my clothes and made a dash to the shower.

I changed into a black Tonight Alive T-shirt with a pair of denim skinny jeans that were ripped at the knee, a pair of light blue 1989 Taylor Swift edition keds and a dark blue flannel which I tied around my waist.

I pulled my hair into a fishtail braid and slipped on a backwards black snapback over my head. I grabbed my phone and backpack and walked out. "Saviour will be there" Luka sang softly as he walked out his room.

He was wearing a black Counterparts T-shirt with a pair of black skinny jeans and a pair of red vans. "Let's go!" Luka exclaimed as he walked out the door.

I walked into the kitchen and grabbed two bags of Strawberry flavor poptarts and two containers of boxed orange juice.

On the table was a note from Antonio.

Went to drop off my kids, see you after school. Have a great day.

P.s. call your mom 

I let out a sigh as I saw the last part. No way was I calling my mom. She never showed up after I came home, never even noticed I had been kidnapped. Just like she hadn't asked about my life I'm not going to bother asking about hers.

I placed the note in the drawer and walked out locking the door behind me.

"Hey remember the dude that lived there" Luka whispered as I handed him his poptart and juice. "Markus?" I asked. "Yeah, he just walked out all angry with a suitcase in his hand, and gave me a dirty look. If looks could kill I'd be dead right now" Luka said. "Let's go" I said as I started to get the chills. Something was giving me a bad vibe.

We walked to the bus station and waited. Ten minutes later it arrived.

"Lukas welcome to Cambridge high, very posh elegant school. So don't be a loser" I stated as we stood in front of the school. "I'll try" Luka said and we walked inside.

"We're meeting up with Zelda, Aron, and Michael after school so you can meet Aron's band" I informed Luka as we walked into our first hour which was AP literature.

"Oh great look who's in our class" Luka whispered. I glanced across the room and saw Kam and his friends, Willow, Jess, Tyson, Kendell, and Leo.

"God I can't stand Willow" I whispered as we took a seat. "Just one year, then we're out" Luka reassured me.

"Welcome to AP literature" a tall man in his late fifties said," my name is Mr. Gavin and I'll be your teacher. Now to start off the year we're going to start a project" Mr. Gavin said and the class groaned. "What did you expect we'd all sit in a circle and tell our names ha! Go back to Mrs. Wilson's English 2 class" Mr. Gavin said and laughed.

"I already chose your partners" Mr. Gavin said and paced around. "Alright let's start with Jessica Hays and Kendell Lumperski" Mr. Gavin read off the names.

I zoned out until he read my name.

"Alexandria Marquez and Kam Armstrong"

I took a deep  breath and looked over at Luka. "And finally Lukas Madison and Skyler Lee" Mr. Gavin said," now that you know who your partner is this is your assignment" Mr. Gavin started off," last year you all read Into the wild, to start off you will write a three page paper, MLA format on how Chris' actions were justified or how they weren't. That's due next week. Everyone will write their own paper! No duplicates. After the paper we will do a presentation on how that can be interpreted into our modern world, easy stuff." Mr. Gavin said as the bell rang,"Okay that's its for this class we'll begin tomorrow. Communicate with your partners!" Mr. Gavin called out as we walked out.

"I'll see you in music" Luka said before walking off. I nodded and walked to photography.

"Alexa" I heard someone whisper. I turned towards the art supply closet and saw Kam standing behind the racks. He signaled me over and nodded when I asked if he was talking to me.

"What do you want?" I asked. "You haven't told anybody have you?" Kam asked. "No" I said," I can keep a secret" I said. "Okay, so for the project do you wanna hang out and talk?" Kam asked. "You're hiding in the closet! Its bluntly obvious you don't want to be seen with me!" I exclaimed. "That's not true" Kam said," the thing is" he said and cleared his throat. "Work on your lying, will you. So its not so obvious" I snapped and walked around.
