I stand before my weakness now

//Alexa's POV//

I woke up tied to a bed. The lights were out and there was a foul smell coming from under the bed.

As I was trying to set myself free the door opened. "Don't bother, you'll never get out" David said and turned on the light," you'll never get out" he said and smirked. "Why are you doing this?" I asked. "Money power and glory" he smirked. "He'll throw you out when he's done with you" I said. "Whatever" he said. "My uncle will find me" I said. "They don't know were you are" he said and walked out.

//Antonio's POV//

"Before we fly out to Miami we need to find out if Andrew is behind this" Voigt said.

We got into the car and drove off to Miguel and Andrew's house.

"Chicago police open up!" I shouted. When nobody answered we busted the door.

"Three bodies" Voigt shouted as he walked into the living room.

On the floor were three of Andrew's men.

I walked upstairs and saw two doors wide open.

I stepped into Miguel's room and saw him on the floor a pool of blood surrounding him. "Body!" I shouted as I felt his pulse. He had a gun shot to the head. I got up and went into the second room.

Andrew was in the tub. Same mortal shot as his son. "Body" I shouted. "Got one downstairs too" Voigt shouted. "Who?" I asked. "Miranda" he shouted.

After calling the ambulance we walked outside.

"Who would kill Andrew and all of his family. Who would be brave enough to do that." I said. "We're dealing with someone unknown here" Voigt said.

Who in their right mind would kill a drug Lord? Who ever did this he or she was ruthless.

//Alexa's POV//

"All right Alexa we're gonna do what Andrew and Miguel never got to do. We're shipping you Punta Cana" David said. "How do you know Andrew and Miguel?" I asked. "I know more than you think Alexa, do you wanna know who's behind all of this?" David asked. "Who?" I asked. "Hi Alexa" he said as he walked in.

"You?" I asked. "Yes I'm back" Markus said. "Why?" I asked. "You never gave me what I wanted" he shouted," David fix her up" Markus shouted and David untied me.

He took me to the bathroom and handed me a dress and a pair of heels. "Shower and get dressed" he said and walked out.

"Oh god no I've seen this all before" I whispered.

After I showered I slipped on black long sleeve dress. The pencil skirt went down to me mid thigh. I pulled my hair into a bun and added he makeup I was given. Before walking out I slipped on the heels.

"My Alexa you look great" Markus said. He was wearing a black suit and his hair was combed back.

"I'm going to enjoy this" he smirked," David make sure nobody interrupts us" Markus ordered.

"Cmon Alexa, I want you to give me what you didn't give me year ago" Markus said and smiled.

Oh God, no, not again.

"Come on Alexa" Markus said and grabbed my wrist and pulled me closer to him," you're going to be mine tonight" he whispered and kissed my neck.

He threw me on the bed and pinned me down.

Not again. I am not the same person I was last year. I'll be damned if this happens again.

At that moment everything I had learned in that year of self defence class came into play. I was going to have to fight for my life.

The next ten minutes were a blur. Markus was on the floor holding his nose trying to stop the bleeding and I was running out the door.

I wasn't going to be taken advantage of again. Tonight was my rebirth.

The reason I included this was to show Alexa's rebirth. If she didn't fight back in the first book this was where she redeemed herself.

I think its messed up that girls have to take self defense classes so that they don't raped instead of guys taking classes so they don't rape. The girls aren't the problem. If girls who like other girls can control themselves why cant guys?

Didn't mean to get all serious there, but I have strong beliefs with that.

Not all men rape, I know and I'm NOT saying they do.
