(Bretton Hudson)

And just like I predicted, last night Brett had sent a "Hey sorry it's short notice, are you available to babysit Saturday afternoon?". And I said yes of course...as always. He was keeping the girls this weekend since his ex-wife, their mother was out of town and he had to go into the office for a few hours and I was his only hope.

The girls and I are currently sitting in the driveway of the house, listening to music, talking, and sipping on our slushies as we draw on the concrete with chalk. Honestly, it was a vibe. I'm a very shy and reserved person, especially around adults. But around children, I am the opposite. different when I am around children. Because children don't give you the opportunity to be shy. They are always in your personal space and asking you millions of questions, wanting to know every single detail about you and your life. You know what..coming to think of it, kids are the noisiest humans ever. Anywho, I have been babysitting and providing childcare since I was thirteen years old. It's not always easy going but now it flows naturally.

"And then he said that he didn't want to become my boyfriend because my hair was too curly. But I never asked him to be my boyfriend I just told him that I liked his shoes"

Ryder was currently explaining to me how she and a friend from school got into a little altercation during recess.

"Hmm..well Ry it sounds like he took your compliment as you were telling him that you liked him. He pretty much jumped to conclusions"

Raelynn taps me on the hand that wasn't drawing

"Denym, what does jump conclusions mean?"

"It means that he made a decision without knowing all of the facts and without asking your sister any questions"

"Ry, do you like him?"

Raelyn asks her sister

"Ew no way!"

I chuckle to myself at the face she makes. Rae was downright disgusted at her sister for asking her that question

"You know Ry there is nothing wrong with your curly hair. Yours either Rae"
