I've been standing in this burning hot kitchen forever, it seems. BOTH ZURI AND ROMAN HAVE YET TO MAKE AN APPEARANCE!!
I rub my throbbing neck. Being a cook is absolutely exhausting. And I'm barely in the kitchen. I hope they like the food. I was stressing so bad that I almost burned the pan. But it's fine, I'm sure it'll be worth it. Besides, the feast is already on the table.
I even bought dessert and a bottle of wine. I used partying and drinking to run from my problems. I just made them worse, though. Being that way was scary.
I thought I was standing up to my parents, but really I was just becoming them.... I shake the thought.
I bought this for Zuri and Ro. I'm taking a much-needed break from alcohol.
If they want to have some, they can. I'm here to right some wrongs, and that's it.
I take a seat at the table, scrolling through Flipstagram endlessly waiting for my lingering party. They walk in, not a second later, flashing flushed smiles and cheery laughter.
Zuri starts her stripper routine and admires her favorite key-bowl. She takes a look around, but I hide, wanting the upper hand.
A look of sadness and disappointment crossed her face. I'm a horrible friend, but apparently, I'm not the only one to notice her discomfort.
Roman circles around, nudging her. She instantly grins, luring him in. They had the quietest conversation I've ever heard. But Something changes when Roman leans in, towering over Zuri.
She doesn't seem to have a problem, considering she gets closer.
"What in the actual hell?"
Their conversation turns into complete mumbles. When Zuri moves closer and gets on her tippy toes. She whispers something to make Roman pull her closer.
"Woahhhh, Okay."
Their bodies are practically molding when she pulls away, leaving him bewildered.
Zuri lets out a sharp laugh. Hiding her blush.
My hand whips to my nose. I can't help but snort.
They are so adorable. I can't believe it took this long. Not that I've been any help.
She looks at him so thoughtfully. Maybe I should let them unwind.
It's been a long day.
They seem calm and relaxed. I don't want to dampen the mood.

Marley doesn't want to impose. Should she leave and act like Casper made dinner?
I think she'll boss up and do what's right, but that's just me.
Any Thoughts?
