"Are you sure you're okay to do this? If you need to be swapped out, there's no shame in saying it." Sova asked you once again, having pulled you aside to get a quick word in before you took the aircraft to leave towards the portal once more. You simply nodded, giving him your best reassuring smile as you gently pushed him away so you can make your way towards the aircraft.

Even if you did want to get swapped out, it was definitely too late to ask. You have to board the aircraft and you had to leave now-swapping you out for someone else would just compromise the mission entirely, and then set you guys back even more. "I'm going to be okay. Don't worry." You simply said as you walked past him, heading towards the aircraft without looking back.

Because you knew if you looked back he would see the doubt on your face, he would have seen the nervousness and the uncertainty. If there's something you learn to not mess around with, it's definitely Sova's perception. You didn't know how he could people so easily, spotting every small micro facial expression that gives away everything- it was both impressive and terrifying.

"Good luck then!" Sova called out to you, watching you board the small aircraft with your usual duo, Iso. And as always, Iso looked completely unfazed and uninterested by your appearance in the aircraft, his attention was fully turned to his phone.

You didn't know if it was even worth trying to start a conversation, even though you managed to take a step forward with your relationship with Iso, it's still kind of felt like there was steps taken back every time. You took a few deep breaths to calm any of your nerves, looking out the aircraft window as it took off, watching as the protocol headquarters became smaller and smaller the further up in the sky you went.

After some time of silence, it ended up getting broken. Once again you were less surprised as you weren't the one who tried starting a conversation; no, it was Iso, once again. "Sova looked concerned. Something happen?" He asked you in a pretty flat tone, breaking the silence between the two of you and starting the conversation for once.

You had to get over your slight surprise, not wanting to leave him without an answer too long. "Oh- no it's okay, he was just making sure I'd be fine." You simply said, not developing your answer much more. Of course you weren't going to tell him anything about why Sova was concerned, the reason why this mission was making you so nervous or even what might happen if you crossed paths with Omega Iso.

There was silence once again, to which you just tried to ignore by staring out the window. It was weird being the one avoiding conversation when usually you're the one who tried so hard to start it- the irony of it all was the least of your concerns right now though. "You're oddly avoidant." Iso stated once more, though his tone was monotone again, it was definitely a bit more firm.

"No-...just not much to say." You muttered out, knowing just how bad that excuse sounded. But once again you didn't really care, even if he made a comment about it or if he chose to point it out, he wasn't much better himself whenever you tried and starting a conversation with him.

"You? Not having much to say? That's a first." He said, and you could hear him shifting in his seat. You weren't really liking how he was trying to poke his nose into your business, you already had two people doing that and you didn't really want a third, especially not him. Especially when all your problems are currently rooted because of him, even if he was unaware of it.
