Buried in the comfort of your sheets, you barely realized how much time had gone by once again, just like the last time you isolated yourself this way. Except this time, some people passed by your dorm while you were sleeping, waking up to snacks, drinks or small meals being left on your nightstand.
You'd pick in them, getting some nutrients in you to avoid having another pass out from lack of eating and hydration again. But you didn't know who was leaving them- taking a guess it was probably Sova as he was the one who would seem most probable to make sure you have what you need.
This time you woke up fully, not a half asleep daze like you've been having the last couple of times you had woken up. Laying in your bed, eyes wide open, staring at the ceiling. You mind was quiet, for once it wasn't being twisted and tortured with thoughts of Omega Iso. It was a rare occasion where it wasn't working overtime to build multiple scenarios and images to make your gut twist and churn.
Your room door opened once more, this time you were able to see who was coming in to check on you, now that you were awake. You saw the familiar glowing blue eye, contrasting the darkness of your room quite vividly. ''Damn, makes a great nightlight.'' You mumble out, your voice a bit hoarse as you spoke. There was a pause in Sova's steps, and you could tell he turned towards you by the angle of his bionic's eye light.
Sova chuckled slightly. ''I guess it does.'' He said in a softer voice, a hint of amusement as he spoke. You reached over to your phone, tapping on the screen a few times before turning on some low, ambient lighting. You also took note of the time, seeing it was late afternoon of the next day. You let out a small grumble, forcing yourself to sit up. ''Well there goes my sleep schedule for a few days.'' You muttered out, passing a hand through your messy hair to try and tame it a bit, trying to break through the bedhead knots.
''Well, you definitely needed it.'' Sova started, suddenly his tone a bit more cautious as he spoke, placing a small plate of snacks on the nightstand- it was crackers, cheese and dried salami, a light and easy snack that would get you extra calories in to not feel too sluggish. ''I can't have cheese-'' ''It's lactose free, Clove already warned me.'' Sova cut you off, a small smile on his face as he took a seat on the office chair in your dorm, facing you.
You knew what he wanted to ask, you knew it was coming. This time, you weren't as scared to talk, knowing that you did the right thing. It didn't make you any less nervous, knowing that you would probably get scolded or still get in trouble for your past interactions with Omega Iso, but at least now, now you knew you would be able to pull the trigger.
''Just ask. I know you want to.'' You said, resignation could be heard in your tone, the anxiety you had been hiding since the beginning was finally showing on your face and body language. Sova took note of it all, he could tell you were willing to talk, but he would need to be careful on how he proceeded.
''You had a panic attack on the field after being stuck in omega Iso's ultimate again. Was it really just because of your feelings or did something else happen?'' Sova asked, deciding to be direct with his question instead of tip toeing around it. ''Can you just promise me something before I tell you everything?'' you asked Sova quietly, fiddling with your own hands from nervousness. ''Depends?'' He responded, raising a brow your way. ''I don't want to get in trouble.'' You said, swallowing the lump forming in your throat. Sova couldn't promise anything without knowing what was entailed, but he did promise to do what he could to cushion any consequences if need be.
