Katerina launches up into the sky as the Hulk grins maniacally and also leaps up, latching onto a nearby building and attacking the Chitauri soldiers also on the building.
Meanwhile, Katerina begins to fly through the streets, lookign for any targets. After a few minutes, she is nearly plowed into by a chariot being steered by... Natasha?
"Sorry, Kat!" Natasha yells apologetically as she continues to fly along before being shot at by some energy fire. Katerina searches for the source of the fire before narrowing her eyes at the one firing. Loki.
"Oh. You" Natasha says distastefully as she also notices him, flying madly throught the streets, dodging buildings as she attempts to evade him, whilst Katerina flies towards the god, stopping as she notices an arrow flying towards said god, who catches the arrow in one hand with a smirk. However, the smirk shifts to the source of the arrow, Clint, and Katerina as it explodes in Loki's hand, his chariot crashing into Stark Tower. Katerina flies upwards as she sees Natasha leap from her chariot onto the roof of the tower, rolling as she lands, shortly followed by Katerina, who lands behind her in a pose, which causes Natasha to roll her eyes and mutter "Showoff" under her breath. As Katerina examines her surroundings, she spots a CMS machine, powered by the Tesseract and providing a source for the portal above, as well as a beaten-up looking Doctor Selvig.
"Doctor" Natasha says questioningly.
"Loki's sceptre, the energy... the Tesseract can't fight. You can't protect yourself against it" he says, sitting up against a wall.
"It's not your fault. You didn't know what you were doing" Natasha reassures, stepping closer to the machine.
"Well, actually, I think I did. I built in a safety to cut the power source" he replies.
"Loki's sceptre..." Katerina murmurs to herself, to which Selvig nods.
"It might be able to close the portal" he says, looking down and noticing the golden gleam of the sceptre below "And I'm looking right at it" he adds.
As Selvig starts to type, Natasha and Katerina look at each other and nod, Katerina leaping off and gliding down and grabbing the sceptre, flying back up and giving to Natasha before gliding down again to help against Chitauri forces.
Moments later, Natasha's voice rings out through Katerina's comms as she fights off a swarm of Chitauri soldiers "I can close it! Can anybody copy? I can shut the portal down!"
"Do it!" Steve replies through the comms seconds later.
"No, wait!" Tony's voice rings out.
"Stark, these things are still coming!" Steve exclaims.
"I got a nuke coming in, it's gonna blow in less than a minute" Tony replies in a voice sounding too nonchalant for the situation. Katerina launches up into the air to try help Tony with the nuke. "And I know just where to put it" he adds.
Katerina spots Tony's red suit flying through the streets with a missile above and flies up to join him, saying into her comms device "I'm here too"
"Stark, Raven, you know that's a one-way trip?" Steve's voice questions through her comms.
"I know, Cap. Better do this than let it blow" she replies grimly, her metal wings flapping as she tries to guide the nuke up and avoid Stark Tower with the help of Tony. She breathes a sigh of relief as the missile tilts upwards, goign straight up towards the portal, going straight in, guided by Katerina and Tony.
The pair breathe a sigh of relief as the missile goes through the portal, both of them still holding it, although they both let go as soon as soon as it does. She hears Tony talking, although it is muffled and unintelligible from her perspective.
