Chapter 16: Smokey Moments

You were at base laying on the couch looking at the ceiling above you in thought.

"Hey Y/N you ok?" A male voice said. You sat up to see Jack standing next to the couch looking at you with concern.

"Yeah, I'm fine just thinking about him." You fought back tears.

"I know that your upset but Optimus said you have to stay here." He sat next to you and hugged you.

Soon the Autobots returned from a patrol and Smokescreen came over to you. You and he had become very close and he was the only thing that kept your mind off Knockout.

"Hey Y/n wanna go for a drive?" He asks and smiled.

"I guess what else is there to do?" You then got up and got in his servo as he put you on the ground and transformed. Soon you and he were just cruising.

"Hey Y/n?" He asked, you sat up some.

"Yeah?" You replied.

"Do you care about me?" He asked with some nervousness.

"Why wouldn't I. I think your the best thing in this world right now." You smiled and patted the dashboard.

"Ok, if I like, liked you would you feel the same?" Your eyes widened some as you thought.

'Does he like me like that?!'

"Y/n?" His voice snapped you out of thought.

"I probably would but-" you were going to say but he cut you off.

"Then would you go out with me!" His voice was full of excitement.

"What?!" You rose a brow.

"I-I'm sorry it's ok if you don't feel the same." You could just hear the sadness in his voice.

"Smokescreen. I really like you but..... I'm not really sure Knockout hates me yet even though he tried to kill me...." You fought back a few tears.

"Oh..." You then smirked some.

"That doesn't mean the answers no though." You then got out for you he had stopped driving and was now back inside of the base.

"You mean that?" He transformed into robot mode.

"Yep." You wink and walk off some were. Smokescreen just stood there with a rather dreamy face.

"Hey, Smokescreen?" Someone tapped his shoulder.

"Huh?" He looked behind him to see Arcee.

"You ok?" She asked he nodded and she smiled and walked off.

Latter you were watching tv with Jack and he kept glancing at you and when you looked back at him he retreated and blushed and when your gazes met you both turned away and blushed and Smokescreen was watching.

"Sorry." Jack quickly turned.

You giggled and then heard a 'hmph' from someone. You turned around and saw Smokescreen he looked up at the ceiling.

"I was looking up there to see if I lost something." He had a guilty smile and you chuckle and playfully roll your eyes.

"Ok, whatever you say." That night you slept on the couch and Jack, Miko, and Raf had gone home earlier. You stirred in your sleep some and swore it felt like something or someone was lying on you. That's when you opened your eyes and felt hot breath on your neck you glanced behind you and saw Smokescreen sleeping on your back.

"What the?!" Your voice made his eyes shoot open and he fell off and onto the floor.

"Ow!" He said and rubbed his red and blue-haired head.

"Smokescreen what were you doing on me?" You helped him up as he sat back down next to you.

"You looked cold so I kept you warm I've been on you for two hours." He explained.

"Smokescreen don't lie I was fine. I know why you slept on me, you like me I know because you asked me out. " You chuckled and he blushed a little.

"Yeah... oh man I was on you cause I asked Jack how male teens sleep with girls and that's how he said they did." He rubbed the back of his neck.

"Oh... I didn't mind it was kind of comfortable." You smirked and pulled him on you again but when you realized the way you had him on you, your face turned red.

"Uh..." he was on top of you and you two were face to face. He then smirked and rested his head on your chest some making you flinch.

"Smokescreen! Uh, maybe you should sleep on my back!" You rolled over under him and your elbow but his chin as you did so.

"Sorry." You apologized for pulling him on you and hitting his chin some. He giggled and wrapped his arms around your waist and inched upon you and moved up so you so he could bury his face into your hair.

"You know I didn't mind laying on your tummy right?" He smirked and moved some.

"Yeah...." You face headed up as he breathed on your neck.

Then what he did next stopped your heart. He then placed a small kiss on the back of your neck and you froze and your face was dark red now. He smirked and kissed you a little more and then played with your hair.

"Hey?" He poked you. "Huh! What?" You returned back to reality.

"What was that for!?" You looked at the blue/redhead behind you.

"Nothing~ good night Y/n~" you purred and you felt his smile on your neck.

"Goodnight."
